with the problems out lot are having ticket wise, and possibly 40 to 50 thousand mancs qualifying in a similar ballot, f***ing hell i reckon it'd be multiple murder time in Athens and the various resorts out there never mind the airports over here.

 

Not only the situation with us and them, but the fact you'd now have thousands upon thousands looking for touted tickets due to the fact that approx 30 thousand tickets will now almost be available to anyone willing to pay the price.

 

UEFA are the ones accountable for this and not the club (albeit the club never f***ing help themselves as per normal) and the blame would then hit our clubs if any trouble was caused.

 

UEFA never f***ing learn, however much i enjoyed the whole Istanbul trip the game should never have been played in a stadium miles away from anywhere. And thats a non serious UEFA f***up. They've done a lot worse as we know from 1985 and the fact they picked a stadium falling to pieces.

 

The G14 clubs need to sort this out once and for all, and tell UEFA that if they can't sort it, they won't have a competition left to run if the big clubs pull the plug. Then they'd have 70 thousand tickets available for the UEFA family, but the sponsers would start pulling out.

Its a joke, people with no involvement are making thousands of pounds off ordinary fans because people will pay what it takes to get there.

Didn't they change it for the FA cup though after years of a similar balance of tickets debate ?

I seem to remember they changed the allocation to give more to the clubs involved. So if the clubs made an issue out of it then maybe UEFA would do something.

 

I'm surprised more hasn't been made of this, especially since ouselves and Arsenal have contested the last 3 years finals.

We should kick something off here - some sort of petition to the clubs.

 

There should be a rule that at least 70% of tickets go to the clubs (80% would be more like it in my eyes but let's be realistic).

 

As it stands UEFA are supporting touting and the ripping off of loyal fans. It's one of the most disgusting things I've ever heard of, and goes against everything UEFA purport to stand for.

 

People need to take a stand on this, fans of other English clubs and probably across Europe would support it.

Nope. UEFA's allocation for their 'family' is a touch over 29,000

 

If the capacity is 63k that leaves 0 for 'anyone else'.

The CL is UEFA's big toy, and part of the reason for G14 in the first place was to check UEFA's well known arrogance.

The only way to force UEFA to change their policy is to boycott the sponsors' products. Once the sponsors complain to UEFA then the ticket distribution will change.
