thats a shock why? Would rather that, than he say he sees us winning. we are at our best when they all say we are not favourites. I'm hoping boringho comes out with something too.

Isn't it funny how we were able to focus on the CL this season because we were not in the title race and that is why we are in the final. What about the seasons when you have never been in the title race and you still went out at the group stage, or first knock out you lemon.

So he must have been lying last week when he was quoted like this in Paul Wilson's article in the Guardian:

Fergie, as befits a cautious Scot and a diplomatic one, is sitting on the fence. 'Liverpool are hard to beat,' he said. 'They will set out to be hard to beat in the final. Milan have got fantastic quality and in Kaka and Seedorf they have a couple of special players, but there's two teams with different styles and it's a very difficult game to call. I wouldn't put a penny on it.'

He does not want to see Liverpool achieve in 3yrs what Man U have achieved in their entire history.

hopefully outbursts like this will help inspire the team to a winning performance

Fantastic words there. I can almost hear him slurring it out to the press.

He'll have to think of other things to do with the bottle, as he won't be drinking it. I suggest her gives it to some Soth African lass he tries to grope, or to the lawyer who got him off on his driving offence. Or just simply shove it up his hole!!!

c***!!

I love the fact that he thinks like this:

"But the truth remains we faced one of the best performances in the history of AC Milan"

I mean well, it would have to have been to have beaten you wouldn't it?

And anyway how would you know?

Maybe the truth is you just played like s*** and just weren't good enough. Again.

Oh but then you were tired. Of course.

It wouldn't surprise me if he's been misquoted in parts to get a headline as there are some disrespectful comments in there.

Just more fuel to the fire for our boys when we take to the pitch. The media, together with various Milan players, coaching staff and other figures in the game have have done a great job of catapulting Milan as clear favourites now. Just how we like it the arrogant b*stards.

I like the way they keep writing our team talks for us. Who needs a motivational speech when that woeful cu*t is around?
