double f***up. Ferdinand should never have made a backpass that could end up in his own goal.

Yup, it was a blind back pass. Either look up to see where the keeper is or if you havent got time for that, knock it away to safety

Looked like Ferdinand got a shout from Vds though. It doesn't matter really as they lost and they're both c****.

Funniest bit was when he was looking round for someone else to blame, then realised he was all alone.

The c*** looked about 2 inches tall.

Funniest part of the whole game is watching Rooney chase the ref. One of the many times he did it they were attacking and the ball was still pinballing around the Pompey box and utd were having chances to attack. Rooney was 10 yards away from the action though, telling the referee that he was displeased with a decision, his back to the game, heedless to his side's situation. Wonderful footballer.

England must be destined for glory with him spearheading the golden generation.

Hahaha, I love the way he stormed off, walking as fast as his probably waxed little legs could carry him and ripping his shirt out of his shorts. He looked like a bloody 5 year old, it was pathetic.

The number of times VDS has saved them this season, One-Night-In-Rio would do well to remember that.

at least he had the good grace not to blast the ball into someone's face this time.

i nearly wet myself laughing at the own goal.

his face was a picture, as was slurgies.

That own goal was better than the three points off Reading. And who better to score than him? I can't think of anyone.

You're taught at an early age to aim your backpasses wide of goal, it should be second nature to a premiership footballer. neville did the same in that england match a few months ago when everyone blamed Robinson instead.

But to be fair to that inbred w*****, he did pass it straight to Robinson. Hardly his fault the fat b*****d kicked air instead of the ball ...

it's still a complete basic though as gomez says. if ferdinand didn't have a shout from van der sar then he should've either played the backpass off-target or cleared the ball.
