Personally haven't seen any of their games but the results are quite amazing. They were so hopeless all these years since late 1990s and now they beat Sweden and are on top of the group.

I just wonder what miracle happened to them? Is their any reason to it?

They played Spain when Spain were really crap and did wonderfully well.

I hope they do well and qualify at Spain's expense.

Then the racist monkey will have to be sacked.

I can't believe the number of goals Healy has scored. His international scoring ratio is good as anybody's in Europe. Better than the likes of Rooney and even Owen. Why is he not playing in the Premiership?

some players do better at international level than league level (like baros for example)

My bet is that Northern Ireland will finish 4th in their group.

Think they've got Leichtenstein at home next aswell so thats another 3 points.

They just give everything they've got, they know they arent great but make up for it with effort. And have a striker who seems to be scoring everytime he plays.

BBC were interviewing Wise after the match and asking him why he isn't picking Healy for Leeds. He struggled to answer because the whole crowd behind him were singing 'Are you watching Dennis Wise'

I love hearing a w***** like him being taken down a peg or two. Another tool for the managerial scrapheap.

That would still be more than creditable considering Norn Iron were seeded 6th in Group F.

Cos he's always been an average championship striker. He just seems to raise his game bigtime when playing for Norn Iron.

Yes I agree with this, finishing behind teams like Spain, Denmark and Sweden would not be a disaster at all.
