A little snippet in the BBC gossip column suggests Lampard has been dropping hints about going to Barca.

 

His contract is unprotected soon so he'll be able to move for around the £8m mark, and I can see this happening. His wife is from over there isn't she as well?

Ronaldo and underated aren't 2 word's you often see together. He's a danger but all too often he works hard looking dangerous, without ever being so. In fairness to him he's been miles better of late but he's just not a player I enjoy watching.

I think he'd do pretty well for them. What he's good at is getting into the box from midfield, and getting back goal side in a hurry. Try and give him playmaking or creative duties, try and get him to run a game from midfield and you have the wrong player, it over-rates him, that's where his cheerleaders and followers tend to fall down.

 

Barca have plenty who can make play in the centre, move the ball about and pick out a pass, but a willing runner who'll get into the box from midfield would add good balance for them and their system.
