Guest PaulMcC Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I'd love a ticket for this ojne on Saturday. First gane i'll have missed at home this season.
LondonLiverpoolFan Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Got Everton (12:45)Mancs (12:45)Villa (13:35 ?)and Arsenal (12:45) still to come
Zoob Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 With the ones we've had, and the ones scheduled for the remainder of the season, it's going to be at least 15. Absolutely absurd.
Stevie H Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 (edited) Villa (13:35 ?) bizarre kickoff time. Edited January 18, 2007 by Steve H
_00_deathscar Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 bizarre kickoff time. As are the rest...................
Dominus Maximus Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 (edited) Works for me, in Denmark the only game a week we get on the national free channel is the early kickoff saturday game... So it's fine by me... Edited January 18, 2007 by Flamingo Crouch

Nebraska Red Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 i love them, i get my Liverpool game out of the way early and can get on with my day. of course, if we lose, my mood is awful for more of the day than usual. works great this week as we have swim lesson sign up, basketball and baseball sign up all on the same day after 9am.
fred milne Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 i get my Liverpool game out of the way early and can get on with my day.You make it sound like a trip to the dentist.

Optimum time: 5.15 on a Saturday on Prem Plus or 4pm on SundayHave a few beers with the lads Worst time: 3pm of a SaturdayThe game isnt on tele and I really fahcking 'ate tha' Settle for: Morning gamesI cant have a beer (no seriously, dont suggest going on the p!$$ from 12.30am its wrong, done it) but can see the match
Guy_Incognito Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 They're bad if you're going the game cos you don't have long enough in the pub before hand and there's no atmosphere cos everyone's still asleep, and it's bad if you're not at the game cos you have to get drinking in the pub far too early, and more often than not it develops into inadvertent all dayers.
Gilps Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 With the ones we've had, and the ones scheduled for the remainder of the season, it's going to be at least 15. Absolutely absurd. Add in you Saturday tea time games, your Sunday 4 o'clock games and couple of midweek ones and how many Saturday 3 o'clock's will we have had this season?

aka Dus Posted January 18, 2007 Author Posted January 18, 2007 Could be stone cold wrong here, but I dont think the players like it either. Same for both teams etc, and they have morning training but its bound to knock them a bit out of their stride.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Could be stone cold wrong here, but I dont think the players like it either. The atmosphere is s*** !! Would match go-ers confirm that this could be the case even though its Chelsea coming to town.

Gray - YPC Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 5.35 on a Saturday is the best kick off time - FACT!
Guest Kev Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 5.35 on a Saturday is the best kick off time - FACT! Not the other week it wasn't
Coyler Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Works for me, in Denmark the only game a week we get on the national free channel is the early kickoff saturday game... So it's fine by me...Normally works for me too, as I'm minding my daughter in a non-Sky Sports ntl-digital house. If we're on at 12h45 it's normally a pay-per-view thing so I can give her mam a few quid to order it. But Saturday is f*cking Grand Slam day so I can't see it.
Guest SpiritualWarrier Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Early kick-offs should be banned. The atmosphere is awful and the players appear to be going through the motions. The three games at Anfield that usually generate the best atmosphere - Everton, Chelsea, Man United are all 12:45 kick-offs. Stick to 3pm on a Saturday and sod Sky.
Extraordinary Swindle Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 what's the fookin story. How many will this make it?? 10/11? At least nine so far this season: Bolton (x2?), Charlton, Chelsea, Everton, Man Utd, Sheff Utd, Spurs, Watford, West Ham.
