The attack on Bolton's playing style by Rafa Benitez before the Bolton game just goes to show the lack of respect that this man has for English football. He has no grace whether he is winning or losing.

 

Liverpool are a big club. Bolton aren't. Yet this war of words just shows how far Liverpool have fallen. they now see us and Portsmouth as their main rivals. Oh, they'll never admit it, will they. Gerrard (how the hell did this man get an MBE?) said in the Liverpool programme that they should be expecting to take six points off clubs like Bolton each season.

 

Who the hell does this man think he is? Give a little respect and you might get some back. Gerrard is both a diver and a stamper and is nothing more than a flat-track bully. He goes missing in big matches both for England and Liverpool.

Liverpool had to beat Bolton on Monday and they did it because of the money that they have to build a bigger squad than Bolton. If they hadn't beaten the Whites, Benitez would have had to eat humble pie. We'll leave that to next season or to the next time that the scousers are humiliated at the Reebok.

 

If you don't want to play English football Rafa, then feck off back to Spain to play with all the girlies.

I think Rafa's 'war of words' with Fat Sam stems from Rafa's first season in charge. If I remember correctly Fat Sam, when he was even more of a rent-a-quote, said that English managers get short shrift and that if Rafa was English he'd have been fired by now (a few months into the season).

 

I'm only guessing but I reckon since then Rafa's not been Fat Sam's biggest fan since then.

It's no secret Alladyce wanted the Liverpool job this stems back from when his agent was touting himself for the job when GH was in charge. Remember it led Ged to say "These rumours [about him being sacked] are getting ridiculous, even Sam Alladyce is being lined up now"
