if we sold torres gerrard benni reina johnson and masch we would struggle to remain in the prem,also torres and gerrard are worth a lot in merchandising and sponsorship.the value of the club would plummet and a lot less income would be coming in.

most people have supported him and some still do.Its hard when not only results but the way we play and both have been shocking for almost the whole season.If he was at any other top club his bags would have been packed long ago.i think it's safe to say our next game will have the same personal and tactics as our last,with 9 men inside our half and torres 20yrds + ahead,trying to make sure we dont concede at the cost of us creating much and scoring.i believe that is the main problem with rafa,too concerned with the opposition,that and players who are obviously stinking the place up keep getting played and don't get subbed til the last minutes of games,too many work horses and not enough player with genuine skill or pace.would rather play an old foreigner than youth hence hold back some of the more promising talent at the club,which is very poor from rafa.

yeah,i suppose we could hope that he takes it upon himself to say he can't do anymore,but why would he if he knows he will lose his golden handshake.ahh well something has to give and it will no matter what it costs.

at some point,even for the 2 owners who are clueless,there comes a realization that this man will cost us more if he stays.in this thread in a previous post i mentioned pretty much what you said.at some point the cost of keeping him becomes greater than the cost of getting rid.What can he do more than he has with the money he has to spend?he has gone as far as he can and maybe as far as anyone could but either way the journey is over.

lets face it,it has to be over now,that team is dead,nothing left and neither does the manager.it was a nice run for awhile especially last season and in a way i will be sad to see him go but i just cant see how he can be kept.i am sure he knows it as well as the players.those players aren't even man enough to put in a shift and be professional,its well f***ed.

i would say that if proper footballing people were in charge rafa would be gone by now,but we dont have that we have 2 gormless b****xs that have almost no interest in what happens and will leave rafa at helm because they think the fans want it,that and they haven't a f***in clue who to bring in to replace him and they also know they have no money to give a new manager.so Until at least the eand of season and maybe as long as those 2 are in charge rafa will eb manager.i see kuyt has been taken off after 87mins....ahh well he is reaping what he is sowing

we are not f***ed f***ed,just regular f***ed.we will be really f***ed if we have to sell torres and gerrard to make repayments,what i think will happen is we finish out of top 4 maybe not in europe at all what happens to the owners then?is there anyway possible that they could hang on.if this is what it takes to get rid then i am ok with it.we get a new manager and new owners and a fresh start.it may take us a few seasons to get back into champions league positions,depending on owners but it wont be all bad.i think tbh it would be worse if we somehow managed to snatch forth and have those 2 cling on and eventually find someone to buy in and have them here long term.we aren't in danger of relegation and i am certain that as soon as the price of the club becomes more realistic there will be an endless queue of buyers.sometimes you just need to clean house and take a step back look at things and then move forward,it happens to everyone and everything,its good for you too if you take the right things from it.f*** the champs league for a couple of seasons at most,we will be back on the upward spiral before we know it.

no matter how messy or small time it seems to some,it is better than nothing and maybe its just a start.The beautiful thing about it is its not too late to turn it around and make it more professional.it's easy for me to say that sitting on my a*** but it really is not too late,nothing is set in stone.The worst thing to do is sit back and wallowing in self pity and looking over yonder and seeing those bunch of pigs making progress.there is no time for that rubbish,i am all for having nothing to do with them and their ideas but f*** it if we have to borrow a few to turn it around for us then so be it.its not like people will remember it in 10yrs.a good start would be to get proper professionals/business people on it,passionate fans ae great but we really need people who are on the ball in this type of situation

YES THEY CAN FORCE US BACK WITH HIGH BALLS INTO THE BOX BUT WE CAN LEAVE MORE THAN 1 UP TOP AND MAYBE WE CAN INSTEAD OF HOOFING IT IN PANIC TRY TO BRING IT OUT OF DEFENSE AND MAYBE TRY TO PASS IT A LITTLE,KEEP THE BALL. DAMN CAPS..

we are defending far too deep,playing exactly the way blackburn wanted.we get the ball then there is no one up top so we hoof it aimlessly forward and it comes right back 10secs later.reina made a great save near the end,should really be no need to put that much pressure on our selves.that aside Blackburn are a f***in disgrace,like wild pigs let loose.

the campaign will still continue if we don't use scarves wont it?anyway,in the larger scheme of things,no it doesn't really make much difference as long as the main aim continues,but there are other ways to do it.

personally i don't like the idea of copying what united do,i'd rather we went with hats/caps,equally as visible and a little more original.

it's been ok,lucas has been poor but we haven't allowed city to really get into the game.skrtel missed a sitter from 5 yrds,basically a free header other than that there really hasn't been much in the way of chances for either side.

i don't know about that tbh,he looked rubbish anytime i saw him which i admit wasn't very often and also a few of my mates who are manc fans thought the same.i cant ever remember looking at him and thinking this lad is going to be a star.he constantly ran up blindalleys lost the ball didn't beat his man very often,looked very poor indeed scored f*** all,his shooting was poor.

no one has one iota what he will be like,not you or anyone else.Being sick isn't an injury,at least not one that i am aware of and he is no more lightweight than garcia,owen danny murphy or countless other players who have played or are still playing in the prem right now.some players just don't adjust quickly to different leagues with different players and style of play,could turn out to be the best player in his position in the league for all any of us know.

i have said this in a different thread,but not having to listen to sky,especially andy gray and others of his ilk make for watching a much more enjoyable game.why get annoyed and worked up about what some biased wnaker says on tv,it's not worth it and if you are stuck with having to listen to that shower every match i pity you as you dont realize what you are getting/missing.Not that the commentators i am listening too are anything but rubbish they aren't nearly as biased and sometimes make a good point.

well i didnt see where his left leg was but if we got a peno from where i saw him standing it would have been a steal.if a peno was given against us for the same thing i would be thinking we were robbed.

he cant do the torres role,at least with his support a f***in mile away.

looking at the replay from the side it showed that fabregras was outside the box when he handled it,so it would have been another freekick and he would have been sent off.then tomorrows papers would have read "arsenal's young guns down liverpool with 10 men".

we were sitting far too deep until they scored from a free header with degen standing there with his mouth open.we didn't do f*** all but contain until they broke through.A draw would have been ok but sitting so deep with ngog up front on his own isolated is terrible as he just cannot hold the ball up.As soon as we hit it forward it was coming back twice as fast.if we had played like we did in the last 20min all through the game we would have got something from this game.i cant remember a shot or save almunia had to make until babels long range effort.over all looking at how we are playing now in comparison with earlier in season it was miles better but so f***in negative its horrible.

it sounds like a load of rubbish to me but what do i know.the idea i would have and would like to see happening is initially have the owner spend x amount to get us back up and running,just to add some quality,also getting a stadium on the go.then we at least start to become self sufficient,of course it will take some time but we will eventually need very little from our owners due to the extra cash coming in via the stadium.so in reality the sugar daddy bit would only happen at the beginning,maybe for a season or two.i'd be happy with f*** all to spend as long as the stadium was being build though so anything extra in the "warchest"would be a beautiful bonus.

proper game of ball spoiled only by a g******* ref,tackles flying in everywhere and great win.perfect for the confidence,we need more of those displays.
