  1. that was absolutely abysmal,no excuses for that.reading play better football than we do,that was a f***ing embarrassment,i have seen better footballing displays from the under 10's.no one to put their foot on the ball and pass it around every ball from defense was a 40yrd + punt our mid is so deep that they have to cross 2 bridges and pay tolls before the get to the forwards.hanging on against the ultimate rubbish from the a****** of nowhere isn't what we are about.
  2. he would be right up our alley, cheap or free with bags of talent that could be taken to another level just like yossi did when he came, different league more open with tackles flying in could be the making of him or he could s**** it and be another waste of wages sitting on the bench.
  3. i think he is the best in the business atm but he needs to be doing it at international level to be considered a great, iker needs to have his legs broken and get reina in for an extended spell.I think that would push him to another level.
  4. dont know why people are arguing about the insua penalty claim,it wasn't even close to being called, never in a million years did he intentionally head the ball against his own arm and therefore no peno.just because some biased clown of a ref might have given it doesn't make 1 iota of difference,99.99% of refs wouldn' have given that unless it was at OT during the "next goal wins"period of the game.
  5. i think it is more important to get aquilani match fit as soon as possible than it is to give pacheco a few extra mins.
  6. now that the pony-tailed messiah is practically gone from the club pacheco looks to be taking his place.so we can be thankful that he is so lazy and s**** instead of being decent because if he was then pacheco would not get the first team opportunities he is now.he could be a super star or end up in some 1st division team nothing is set in stone.
  7. he did and i'd wager he was first to the lino too
  8. he didnt set the place on fire but i thought he did ok but he is adjusting to a new team and league and is still not match fit.a few more games and hopefully wins and his confidence will rise along with his fitness and understanding.
  9. lets be realistic,i dont think the way the team is playing or thwe way the club is being run will impress anyone,i'd wager money on the opposite being the case.
  10. well if there is any good news in that piece its that they have had enough and realize they cant do anymore,so they have given up and are really lookin to sell, maybe that has been the case from the off.the rest i would think doesn't surprise anyone.it would be a surprise though if anyone bought into the club at the price being quoted when all interested parties have to do is wait it out till we hit rock bottom and the yanks have exhausted all lines of credit and are forced to sell which to be fair is very very close now.there will be planty of people looking to bu the club as soon as the price drops.
  11. i dont think its an over reaction at all,i have been thinking it for awhile now that last season was our best and only chance till these 2 are gone.i'd go as far as saying that under the current owners and the way the club is being run people who think we can win it are in dream land no matter what manager we have.
  12. i think we are going to need a trip to the confession box to wipe our sins away and by confession box i mean administration, this is the only way we will shake those 2 b******s off.so whats the worst that can happen?we get 10 points deducted and a fine or somes***,no europe for that season which by the looks of things wont be on the agenda anyhow.then we get to start with a clean slate i also think that as soon as the price drops for the club we will have a fair few interested buyers, there is still a huge interest in our club but not at the "visionary" price that's on it right now.it might turn out to be a blessing tbh.
  13. look the only reason he is still here is because of the owners.fans have been giving rafa the benefit of the doubt for long enough now because of our hatred for G&H.i' bet if he was any other top club in Europe he'd be sacked by now.i have been in the rafa stay corner but now i am getting the feeling we wont make 4th cause we wont turn this run around,of course nothing is set in stone but rafa is a lot of things but he isn't a motivator. He needs to instill confidence by praising them or something.Personally i cant see what else he can do now with the players he has,all of which are rock bottom.Changing formation bringing in different players he has been trying these things over the last month and even though we have scraped the odd win none of it has been enough and i really believe he is out of ideas.
  14. below 7th?are you f***ing kidding or what,he is dead lucky he is still here as it is if it wasn't for peoples anger towards the owners and blaming them for everything he'd be long gone and that goes for if he was at any other top club.
  15. maybe or maybe the problem is with your vision.
  16. so we should persist with f***in rubbish then?rubbish that runs alot.
  17. net spent...
  18. supposedly klinsmann was on german tv today saying we wanted him. as in are actively seeking him now!!
  19. look ffs its not howard webbs fault we lost,we are rudderless clueless hopeless and really dont look like turning it around.when does it get to the stage where enough is enough. Are we just goin to accept this and blame refs the owners the crowd the neighbours anyone but thwere the blame should lie.i think everyone knows or is beginning to see what needs to an will happen very soon.
  20. from where we are now both position wise and the type of football we are playing if someone offered third now i'd rip their arm off.
  21. pipe dream,no chance.Be lucky to get third,very lucky.
  22. its a shambles and another kick in the b******s,exactly what we didn't need,no such thing as a meaningless game really.
  23. its a game with nothing to lose really, players wont feel as much pressure and might go out and play better because of it,but there is still a win to be had and atm i think that is the single most important thing for the team.we all know how it goes, winning breeds confidence and we are rock bottom in the winning and confidence department.i would play the strongest team i could barring those who really need a rest, get the win feel good bring on arsenal.
  24. i say we should play as strong a team as possible for the game against fiorentina, why?well we really need wins and to build momentum and beating that shower will give us a bit of a boost, this is a very important game in that respect,we need to get back the winning habit and you wont do that by playing kids mixed with a few seniors and losing.
