Mustard is good in general. as in 'keen as mustard'. Maybe he'll be s****, but he looks a bit Robben-esque to me, could be a player.

didn't need the hassle but we desperately needed players. he wanted to come, would have taken a wage cut. might have been worth a punt. maybe. i'm on the fence, but it might have made a difference.

of course it isn't, their manager sets media agendas in this country. if we'd bought him you'd have never heard the end of that dossier, him nearly going to hull, dave whelan would still be on about how he turned him down etc etc... instead there's trumped up nonsense when he does alright and silence when he does nothing. if it wasn't for all this nonsense, i'd have him back. i think i said that at the time as well, not sure.

Mike is right. He looks much better than he did last season. Starting to think we should have bitten the bullet... But then I think about the whirlwind of nonsense that came with robbie keane, every time he didn't start or came off for someone unfancied. would have been 10 times worse if we'd got michael 'please mr capello' owen.

he's got by far and away the best scoring record of any clinically insane player in the history of liverpool too, but you never hear him mentioning that.

One of the many reasons why it's good to have Gerrard playing. He's as bad as any of them, mateying up and in the refs ear all game. He's really good at it, all the refs think he's their best friend.

We're going to get hammered. The papers will have their annual Wenger fest. Arsenal won't win the cup. They really should have some sort of special trophy that arsenal can win, it's so unfair that the best team in the world never win anything.
