I don't get the Gerrard hate, what's he done bar having s***e taste in music and a few dodgy pals? yeah he's not the answer for next manager but he's perfect for an interim til summer.. are people afraid he'll do ok and there'll be a media clamour ro make him permanent?

Oxlade Chamberlain doing a medical at Celtic

Their defence is far worse than ours in recent weeks Feeling weirdly good about this game. I'm sticking a tenner on a Virgil goal too

I mean nobody in the game can match Jurgen Klopp for the ability to instill belief and inclusiveness with a squad of footballers including fringe and youth players, so it's unrealistic to expect the same from another manager.... but Slot is almost his polar opposite in this

I think that discussion amounts to being the clubs official "Sot retains our full backing" press release...at least for the rest of the season

I watched a few minutes of it By Hughes 4th or 5th mention of the word "synergy" I was out

Solanke? ...did he come through our academy?

In reality we have 2 RBs, same as LB. Ramsey doesn't count cos he only gets in if the 3 midfielders aren't available. The order seems to be Dom, Endo, Jones, Ramsey One (arguably the 1st choice) is out for the season. One is currently out for a few weeks, his 2nd injury since joining us, having had a good fitness record at Leverkusen I don't care if its loan or buy I just don't want our already strained midfield weakened. Guehi would have helped cos Gomez's short windows of fitness would've had fewer areas to cover Geertruda (sp?) would be an ideal solution, covers both positions, prem and international quality, played for Slot ....but it's now looking unlikely cos we're down to the final hours of the window Given we've known all this since Bradley's injury v Arsenal, if we don't get the position covered for the rest of this campaign I'm calling negligence

We needed to do something as soon as we knew Bradley was out for the season. You're right about Gomez, count him out...so an injury to Frimpong and we're depleting the midfield by playing either Dom or Jones. It's negligent

Everyone is doing their best to gift Arsenal the title

If he wins us the champions league, gets us 4th and kicks Trump in the balls I don't mind if he stays

Frimpong has at least got past his man on the outside several times, his final ball not always great but that's what you want to see from that position I thought Salah was a good out ball but lacked support at times, he tried to beat Hall but couldn't, there was no option on the overlap but the right ball inside happened once, to Wirtz, and led to that vital 3rd goal There's a strange tension going on where you're waiting for him to accept him limitations and try to adapt his game to support Ekitike more and I think that will happen

There could well have been a dressing room bust up that's had the happy effect of clearing the air a bit ... if so it proves of the benefit of keeping our internecine beefs in house

It was the right call to play Dom at RB tonight but in fairness we got a bit lucky with Guimares and Joelinton out for them, slightly less missed in midfield

When he's good he's really good, happy for him, he's had a rough time of it

Beautiful finish, Gerrardesque Chelsea are s***e, particularly Garnacho

Really hope Jones is over this alleged sickness and is at least on the bench

Ramsey is there in case Endo, Jones, Szoboszlai and Robbo get injured in the same game....you wouldn't rule it out

Gomez is surely gone in the summer so we still need the cover, why not now when it's a crisis position? ...of course I know why, cos its us, there's no obvious "market opportunity" I said after Bradley's injury the club would be negligent not to buy an RB in this window, and here we are, Frimpong and Gomez both crocked, it's f***ing infuriating

Brilliant last night. But he really looks burned out at the moment, he's carrying a lot for us I think there's been some over the top negative reactions to his mistakes this season, ignoring the systemic dysfunction causing them. Unlike Salah, he has plenty left to give, he just needs better tactical organisation around him, as well as fitter and more consistent players around in defence and midfield

It's not great but he's clearly feeling the pressure and getting a bit defensive, I don't take grave offence .. what's worse for me is the moaning about frequency of games and our squad and injuries while he only uses the same core of players, it's what we were slagging Arteta about last season

Their goal is gonna be under seige

Everything is gutting for us, but yeah an Arsenal implosion would be some small consolation

That's off the charts ....we need a puke emoji
