  1. Bradley is out for a while, Gomez will be injured again in no time...Frimpong will play there but he's not a strong RB, is more effective left mid, plus he's also prone to picking up injuries. So it's a precarious position and I think negligent if we don't buy cover this window
  2. Martinelli, what a c*** For the Bradley incident yes, but I'd forgotten about his s*** weak dive in the box and pretend injury before that
  3. It's seriously negligent if we don't get someone in to cover RB this window Or maybe Slot decides to trust Ramsey, ...but I just don't want to see Dom or Jones there again
  4. In a way it was a relief to be the low block, countering team for once, not to have the burden of attacking responsibility...that's been a source of anxiety for us lately particularly at home Our quality on the ball really showed last night especially in midfield, this should improve our confidence
  5. I was thinking the same Also when he rinsed Skelly that time I though he could've cut in and played a better ball across the box He's the only player we have with real pace who is regularly getting past his man,...so more of this plus some improved final ball please Jeremie
  6. The first 20mins or so wasn't pretty but it was what was required, we had to sit deep, concentrate, withstand their expected quality and try to get a foothold on the game from there. I think we did that and more so huge credit to Slot and the players The only time we switched off was that last corner of the game where we left Gabriel free at the back post, luckily he completely fluffed it They only had 2 weak shots on target as far as I remember Absolutely they have a collective fragile ego and could still f*** this up for themselves
  7. Yeah but consistency is needed, we'd better not revert to being dull and passive after that tonight
  8. He's not properly fit is he? and played the full 90+... I thought he did ok tonight, controlled and disciplined MacAllister did more of the stuff we expect from Wirtz, but there was nobody in the box to pass it to
  9. Excellent tonight, kept the ball so well, I was hoping for that kind of performance from him
  10. if Bradley is out for a while we're absolutely bare bones, negligence if we don't make Palace an offer
  11. That's it exactly ...they're such c****
  12. It's projection innit, that's the kind of antics they're always at Didn't think Martinelli was that hateful, have to add him to the rest now, they're such pricks... Rice was acting the c*** aswell after Frimpong went down
  13. I think either Ekitike or Isak would've been on the end of one of those Frimpong crosses Kerkez was really good, his best performance in the shirt so far The question is can we use that performance as a platform for the rest of the season? The workrate and solidarity was all there tonight...I don't think they had any clearcut chances, and with a striker we probably win that game
  14. Great performance finally, imagine we had a striker MacAllister was brilliant again, finally Arsenal are not all that, hope that rattles their momentum and they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory
  15. One Mor Ndiaye, we're gonna celebrate Oh yeah, alright, don't stop the dancing One Mor Ndiaye, we're gonna celebrate Oh yeah, alright, don't stop the dancing
  16. I'm also pessimistic. On current form we get battered, the team is playing with little or no belief But I can't bring myself to believe it's impossible that we could beat Arsenal (again btw) in one football match. Or at least fail to lose. Think of how we used to mug Man Utd title winning teams. Even if it's unrealistic I'm going into it with some belief...the way I do at the bookies with my 10 result 50 cent accumulator
  17. That's not the only hope, they could actually run, work really hard, defend properly and maybe grab something on the break Yes they're a good team in good form but we're Liverpool, it's too bleak on here
  18. Yeah...the Real Madrid game seems so long ago but they really responded to the occasion and showed up in a way that hasn't happened in the league Against City we actually showed something to get back but then the bulls*** disallowed Virg header and we fell to pieces If we capitulate tonight I think it's the end for Slot
  19. I concede they are better than us on the pitch at the moment in almost every way But its Artetas Arsenal and I always suspect there's a fragility of ego with them. If we properly turn up, work hard and run, frustrate them and not play into the Liverpool-currently-s***e narrative they'll lose their heads Of course that means not conceding from their first corner ...but anyway it's a football match, they don't always go to form, Arsenal are good not great, we've already beaten them we can do it again
  20. Yeah it would be the most supreme of bottle jobs, we can only dream Anyway my algorithm is seeing a steady increase of point scoring and hagiography for Arteta and their players, pretty annoying so it would be nice for us to remember who we are and give them something to doubt about
  21. Im looking forward to it, or more getting past it really. Just hope to f*** we turn up and make it really hard for them. Maybe MacAllister will pull a Real Madrid and remember how to play again. Hope Ekitike is fit too I know it's just twitter but Arsenal fans are already giddy, some calling it done ...Arne should print these out and pin them on the dressing room wall
  22. Van Bronckhorst could still turn out to be the villain in all this If getting Heitinga back is an option it doesn't seem like it's gonna happen at this stage
  23. Yeah there seems to be a fundamental disconnect between the coaches and the players. It's just got away from Slot, he's all in with his coaches and can't go back. The set piece guy was sacrificed but it hasn't made a difference. Slot has put out the fires that got us beat by 2&3 goals but now we look like we don't know how to get back into any recognisable rhythm... that's just with all the available players, I think the squad issues are a different thing and definitely on Hughes and Edwards
  24. I think it's possible that City owners would let Guardiola name his successor, interesting if Maresca is his pick
  25. He could be headbutting Gabriel and Gyokeres in the balls
