Wirtz was absolutely terrible today, his touch was dreadful, passing way off ...it was one of those days for him. So we had zero creativity Bradley was awful too, bad touch,bad decisions every time. Jones was not good but should've probably stayed on Grav and Frimpong were ok The only danger we had was Frimpong beating his man on the outside but we made nothing of it Too many players underperfoming to be a coincidence, it's surely the coaching. We just don't look like we can put together any kind of concerted rhythm, we're all over the place. We're not losing as many goals but it's just depressing to watch

Wirtz was terrible but should have stayed on We still have very little self belief, Slot is not the man to develop these players into a proper team, I don't know who is but is don't think it's Arne Slot despite winning us a title

I'd say it's all mental for him, just like the rest of them have been struggling. He wants to be the main man but here's Eki banging in 4 goals in 3 games, it's mental pressure I thought he might've been nervous about hitting full pace that late in the game 2 nil up given his injury from the Inter game. That was described as a 'knock' but I don't think it was a collision, more of a groin strain after that bambi on ice thing he did in the middle of the park

A win is absolutely fine but an actual performance would be ideal, some kind of continuation of the application and lack of basic f*** ups we saw v Inter, plus a bit of attacking coherence, a goal or two and of course all 3 points, that would be great, good enough to get me actually believing in Slot

If it turned out Ekitike could play left as well as the 9 then it's a winner solution cos surely to f*** Isak is gonna start being amazing up top... I can't begin to start processing that he's a waste of 125 million

I'd prefer to develop Wirtz in that central 10 position that we all thought he was bought for. It would be great if Ekitike turned out to be the answer on the left

Amazing what winning a football match can do for your mood and outlook It was particularly nice to see the midfield functioning somewhat properly again, not exposing the defence. Mac, Jones and Grav showed up and worked hard. Its proper back to basics stuff and the first sign I've seen from Slot that he can turn us around. We still don't look at all fluid in attack but we dogged it out and deserved the win I thought. Scrappy game and not particularly intense opposition though...the real test will be in the league v Brighton

I suspect Mo has more of a case than we realise, I think hes been done dirty by someone, Hughes the most likely suspect. He shouldn't have done it like he did but it's done, he's gone nuclear and there's probably no way back But he is special, and he's conducted himself really well over his time here and become an all timer. I think he does have genuine grievance about his overall treatment from the football world, refs, pundits etc...it's probably best ignored because its out of his control but he's an emotional guy going through intense grief and looking squarely at the last phase of his career It wasn't good what he's done to the club but it's understandable I think...I'm not listening to Carra grinding his axe, he probably has good points but it's always seemed personal with him, he's just proving Salahs paranoia

I think there'll be a threshold that fsg won't allow Slot to fall below...whatever projected league position they reckon will impact our finances. Regardless of Hughes/Edwards ideas or the Salah situation Slot won't survive too many more points dropped in the league

What's the story with Conte? People seem to think he's crazy. He has actually won the league and seems a very strong personality The only things I remember about him are the Tuchel handshake incident and him slagging off Spurs ...very entertaining
