I'm well aboard the Enrique bus. If there's anyone at the club with vision and a genuine will to replicate the Klopp era success there's just no other candidate out there and they should bin off the head coach model and do whatever it takes to persuade him... but I'm bracing myself for crushing disappointment

Enrique isnt that unbelievable. If he retains the Champions league with PSG thats pretty much his cieling with them Its just down to someone from FSG selling him the project and paying up Plus we're Liverpool

It'll be interesting to see how he plays in the WC, he's either completely lost it or our coaching is bringing out the worst in him

Said this in another thread but I think the absence of any hint of new contracts for Slot, Edwards and Hughes plus the noise and rumours about all 3 indicates a clean sweep at the end of the season - they'll bin the head coach model along with the multi club idea and appoint a manager and new CEO ...granted its glass half full thinking but it also makes business sense, our reputation is taking a hammering under the current set up

They're playing like they want him gone subconciously

Yeah, its a spectcular collapse...but he's getting nothing from the manager...if a player is struggling like this he needs protection not exposure

I dont care what the briefings say, he's not gonna be our manager next season

This squad is f***ed, we're not beating Brentford

Embarrasing...we look like the worst team in the league It's on all three of Slot, Edwards and Hughes,.. been obvious for months that this is a busted flush and they've been briefing/spoofing/gaslighting to protect their positions all along

Its weird and telling that all 3 of Slot, Edwards and Hughes are in no mans land re contracts, all down to the last year and no hint of extensions for any of them...plus rumours about all three, Slot obviously with fan discontent, Edwards because the multi club idea is dead, Hughes to Saudi I think this could indicate FSG are doing, or going to do, a full review end of season If they've any sense they'll look at what has brought the most success for them ie: all in on the right manager, big personality, proven winner... In other words do everything possible to sell the project to Enrique and ditch this head coach model along with Edwards and Hughes As much as Xabi is an opportunity because he's available, so is Enriqe because despite rumours of him staying at PSG he hasnt signed anything yet,..same as Slot here

They certainly seem like the only club who could afford him, but the 115 charges outcome would have to be a doubt for him

Is Enrique a total pipe dream? If he retains the champions league that's pretty much his cieling hit with PSG....and he hasnt signed a new contract. If hes looking for a new project and open to the Premier League its beteeen us, City (Maresca lined up), Man U (looking like Carrick), and Chelsea... For what its worth paddy power has us shortest odds for him, 4/1

"Home Grown Debutant of the year and Scholar of the year" ...according to that Insta post

No need to ask

We seem to bring out the best in every team we play, soft touch s***e ...its f***ing dismal

This is true. But I think it's pretty telling that there's been no hint whatsoever of extension talks about Slots contract...there'll definitely be a reassessment for FSG in the summer ...basically I don't think the briefings about Slot staying on are to be taken as a fait accompli

That definitely appears to be the official position according to the briefings, but I think there's still a hope that the top brass Henry/Warner will assess the wreckage and weigh up the options of a total reset, ie new manager with a brief to work with this squad plus whatever they were going to spend on transfers with Slot It's not like they'll have a huge payoff for Slot, plus there's all this noise about Hughes off to Saudi Basically I don't think it's going to play out according to the press briefing we're seeing now which is more to hide the extent of the rupture and steady the ship

Really seems like it's all broken down weeks ago in the dressing room and they're keeping it in house until the end of the season...I reckon most of the senior players have had it out with Slot. Salah, Robbo and Curtis have all said f*** this I'm off It explains the strangely resigned atmosphere. Champions league is pretty much wrapped up, they're playing out the situation....and it just remains to see who's side FSG go with at the end of season post mortem

100% agree, this is obviously what we're missing. Imagine the b******ing Henderson would've given Szoboszlai for that twattish roulette he tried in midfield v 2 United players, lost it and let them counter? ....I was screaming at the telly Great footballer, scored a lovely goal just before but he's a c**k, and if the manager or any other senior player isn't pulling him up on that then it's not good for the dressing room

It might turn out that he can't cut it in the Premier league, but I seriously doubt it I'm fully in the can't judge him in these circumstances camp... with Slot in situ, playing everyone out of position, instilling confusion and lethargy rather than cohesion and passion Klopp would have loved him, Guardiola wanted him, Alonso had him firing...get a proper manager in before writing off this obvious talent

Probably the most apt "two appling teams" I've ever seen ..Still they were rattled at 2 all and any team with belief, balls, drive would've put them down ...but no, it's Slotball, f***ing depressing. Get him out of this club please

I think what Diaz gave us last season was unique and...he was our only true winger, elite ball carrier, tracked back with relentless energy, as crucial as Trent for our quick transitions, and scored if not many at least a few important goals...all qualities severely lacking this season I wish we paid him big money for another year if we didn't have confidence in sorting a replacement with equal or better qualities ie: Kvara

Apart from the real MacAllister and the old Mo Salah I think Bradley has been the biggest miss for us I think Frimpong was supposed to be back up and besides being rapid he hasn't got much going for him

I think he was saying its just not that cut and dried
