I predict Gerrard, Dirk and Downing will start. No idea how we'll line up but Stevie has been preparing for this game and will be champing at the bit, Dirk has to play regardless of whether its Johnson or Kelly at RB cos of Youngs pace and danger; and I just cant see Bellamy starting - if Downing has another stinker he might come on a little earlier maybe

Love the way Luis hates being subbed too, big sour puss on him when he gets the hook - usually to standing ovation from fans and motm awards

That's a massive massive win, off a generally insipid performance IMO, really important for the whole season. The added bonus is big Andy getting his goal cos apart from that and the 2 headed chances I thought his build up and link play was laboured and sluggish, hopefully this is the confidence kick he really needed and he can get on and develop his form. The Rodwell red reminded me of Gerrards against the mancs 2 seasons ago - harsh but at least we got the luck this time. Made up with the result, will celebrate it heartily

Enrique Kelly Suarez

I dont see much of a problem with that tbh. Coates should be eased in over time and Skrtel, whatever reservations we have about him, should not have his confidence so eroded getting the chop after having a mare in an alien position for him.

Nightmare! 2nd best from the start, Parker and Modric ran the show, Skrtel made Bale look like the player spud fans think he is.....gonna resist any major pronouncements at this point, just a s*** s*** day... Soon's Adam got the red I knew how it was gonna go - Mancs nailed on for the win, City to f*** up.....just a s*** s*** s*** day

Is it too much of a pipe dream to hope Arry and the Hodge get it together as an historic and brave Evans/Houllier style double act by the FA?......and of course fail miserably

Belly's gonna get ya

Wow, who knew the word c u m was filtered!?

It's really just the Chelsea aspect of this which is troubling. I think we all trust Kennys judgement enough to release him elsewhere, but a top four rival...the eternal pessimist can see both him and Torres hurting us when we play the chavs

That's a good article, he's a very intelligent guy Bellamy and, along with t***ting Riise, this: .....is just the icing on the cake

You're right in every respect there, it's the perfect transfer window, the club is so obviously pulling together and making the right decision every time. I reckon Raul wasn't ever happy not to be a first teamer and Chelsea business happened so late because of their Modric pursuit. Total respect and kudos to Damien Comolli and the owners, I think it's fair to say they've exceeded all our expectations.

Welcome back Craig, one of my all time favourite football looneys

fixed i'll get me Coates

Coates the killer: ....what a killer

It's a rout! Another for Dzeko, and a cracker from Aguero. Embarrassing for Arrys boys

see that great cross from Bale?,,, free header for Crouch who proves he still cant head a football, the lanky streak of piss

This. His crossing was excellent, his play was smart and unshowy, took his goal chance very well. Gonna be a top player for us
