I don't think Totti will ever leave Roma. As for his behaviour on the pitch, all his career he has been targeted with players kicking the s*** out of him for 90 min. Many of of his actions are out of frustration and while he is wrong to loose his temper he's not the first to have a short fuse. Ive no idea how intelligent he is and quite frankly couldn't give a s*** tbh as i don't think he is the only footballer this can be levelled at. He may not be a saint but this article by Gabriel Marcotti may put him in a better light.

Totti broke his ankle on the weekend and is a doubt for the world cup. I Know he's not the most popular player but he is one of my favourite players and if anything is underrated. Always thought he was quality, was disappointed that we didn't look at him last summer when everton signed him. Talking of Fiorentina got a real soft spot for them since the days of Batistuta. They have some quality players ,Pasqual at left back looks like he could be special. Kroldrup,Dainelli and Ujfalusi make an excellent defence particulary when Frey is fit to play behind them. Toni is a monster ,both Bojinov, Pazzini and jiminez have great potential. Montolivio will be class. Fiore was one of my fave players in the late 90's early 2000's and have always liked Jorgensen too. Brocchi is a tough b*****d. Prandelli is a top manager and Roma must be upset that personal problems stopped him taking over last year.

Only just, he was woeful when Juventus loaned him at the the start of the season when Buffon was injured. Strange thing is i used to think he was a decent keeper about 5yrs ago and couldn't understand why they picked Dida ahead of him, perhaps not playing for so long has caught up with him. Pointed out in the Cisse thread that i don't thin Morientes is suited to coming on as sub. The pace of the game is too much for him and think we are better off with him and Crouch starting and Pongolle coming on if something needs changing.
