Spurs can't really complain,the rules were clarified before the season started to avoid the mess uefa and the FA made last year. They shouldn't worry though Arsenal won't win the champions league but they will probably overtake spurs for fourth spot .

I'd have Bent over Defoe, in fact i would take a lot of strikers before Defoe he really isn't very good.

The article just seems to have rounded up a couple of stories that have done the rounds lately and then added the usual "A source close to... " . Would love to sign Bellamy and Bent though. Those two plus Crouch and Fowler would give us a fairly balanced strikeforce all of whom know the premier league well.

To be fair to Sammya he didn't say that theere was anything wrong with how we played, he just asked why we played how we did. Think the thread lost its focus when lfc-dub started claiming that you should only win in a certain style. As far as our tactics go i don't think we have a particular way of playing and Rafa bases his formation,tactics and team selection primarily on the opposition and then on other factors such as injuries/fitness/fatigue form and even the following fixture.

I didn't tell you to go and support someone else, i was simply pointing out that some teams and fans share your philosophy on how the game should be played and you therefore may enjoy watching them more.

Ever thought about supporting spurs? Their fans seem to prefer playing in a certain style rather than getting the result.

Nihat was a good player but has struggled with injury over the last year or so and isn't yet playing at the level of a few years back. He's actually quite similar to Bellamy in his style of play. For what it's worth Balague said the other day that he could be goimg to Villareal in the summer.

Having a terrible attitude, Le Tallec in particular hasn't exactly helped them.

I've always thought Bellamy was pretty damn good,would be a very good player for us and i think he is one of the fastest players in the league. I think his poor attitude is overplayed, he has got into a few scrapes off the pitch(away from football) but apart from under Souness he has never really caused trouble in the dressing room/on the pitch.

Like the bad run of form he had last season when he went about half a season without scoring?He is a horribly overrated striker imo.
