Agreed if Garcia has become big headed then Rafa is well within his rights to keep him in check. It should be noted that Benitez has been criticised for treating players like Cisse differently when he has questioned his attitude to players perceived to be his favourites Garcia,Morientes etc. I think this shows that providing the effort/work rate is good then he will back the player even if they are not playing well.

It often seems to be the case that according to forum folk no player is ever good enough for us. tbh i'd take either of those at the moment. As well as signing a 1st choice wingers( gonzalez and whoever) we need at least another player who can play on the flanks offering pace and crossing, a player comfortable on the left and right would be peferable but players like Lovenkrands could be worth looking at particularly on a free.

I don't think Ronaldo would play enough games for us, yes he'd probably score every time he played but his injury record isn't good and i can't see playing in England improving that. Nearly every time i see him tackled heavily in spain he looks in agony and i don't think he's faking it. We cant really afford to risk a lot of money on a player who might be unavailable as often as he is available. Id love to sign a fully fit injury free Ronaldo but i don't know if we will ever see that player again, out of interest how long is his contract at Real and what sort of money would he cost?
