  2. Agree with the pens, and I'm also going to be controversial here and say, now I know why utd got so many penalties before. Because they where in the opposition box so often. Ok, shoot me now, I can't believe I admitted that
  3. I wonder will Ayre throw in the towel a day earlier than usual on this one. He usually clocks off at 5 PM on deadline day. Maybe he put in for a days holiday this time to stop any of the confusion.
  4. Sturridge Coutinho Sterling
  5. I've always quite liked fsg. But I have to admit I'm beginning to think they're just here to maximise our income and then sell the club on in the not too distant future. Not going balls out in this window to get 4th is the living proof of it. What they're doing, or should I say not doing just doesn't make sense. If they're not selling up, then there lack of interest is just baffling
  6. I suppose we could spend 8 million on some spanish kid who nobody knows and will never get into the first team before we release him for free at the end of his contract There is always that option.
  7. You do realise Utd have played Chelsea twice already don't you? Utd still have to play everyone, including us one more time. So im guessing Mourinho is thinking that Utd, with the help of Mata can take points off of all their rivals. Shop hopefully (as a Chelsea fan) they can reduce the chance of any of their rivals winning the league
  8. I do think football clubs are so rich now besides buying the best players, they can actually afford to weaken their opponents by buying up the next tier of players therefore reducing the amount of food players on the market. It's quite sickening actually
  9. He's on the blob
  10. just when you think we cant get any thicker in the transfer market, we go and f*** this one up. Never, and i do mean ever, have we been so close to dethroning Man Utd in my adult life. Yet now, while they are crawling around on their bended knee, praying for us to deliver to the killer blow. Instead we offer out the hand of friendship and give them a hoosh back into the top 4 f***ing typical of this club, an absolute joke since 1990
  11. I'd like to think even our misery owners can see if they just spend a few bob in this window that we can actually pull away and leave utd to look at our heels. It's imperative we take this opportunity and grasp it with both hands. What's happening with utd is beyond our wildest dreams and if we don't take the chance that they are giving us then we're simply stupid.
  12. His kick outs are a bit mark bosnichesque, and yes, he's cost us at least two or three goals recently. But I think overall he's been better than the Reina of the past 3 seasons. He's definitely not better than the early Reina. But mind you, very few where. Would it be inconceivable to put a cheeky bid in for Iker Casillas? It is world cup year after all
  13. How long will the board take being a pile of s**** for? Please god they win their next game. You can't beat papering over the cracks to really f*** a team up long term
  14. I think all in all Rodgers is doing a very good job here. However I do still worry about some of his signings. We can all see that Joe Allen isn't good enough, and to be fair I think even Rodgers knows this. Then there's aspas, another nothing signing. A real "Liverpool purchase of the past 20 years" kind of signing for me. The loan signings where poor as well, moses doesn't give a s**** and that other guy from valencia couldn't care less. I do still have my doubts regarding his eye for a player. But all in all I think we've been exciting this season, it's great to finally get a buzz again watching the games. Hopefully a few decent signings in January and we can solidify a spot in the top 4
  15. Id then like to see the amount of times any manager in the premiership has sent some young debutant on for them to then go and change the game for their team
  16. If we play like that against Chelsea will absolutely murder them. Excellent performance and utterly enjoyable game to watch.
  17. but where's our first team players then? we havent added a really top class player from the youth ranks in quite some time to be fair. ok, the young lads are competing well, we can all agree with that. But the players arent making the final jump. Thats the reality of it
  18. The players I've probably loved the most would be Fowler when I was a kid. As an adult (granted not an old one) it was easily Torres and Alonso. Torres in his pomp made me feel like a child again. The season we came second and the real Madrid beat down was pure ecstasy to watch
  19. Aaron Ramsey? oh wait, i have to pick one of our players????
  20. but instead probably got to retire in their mid 50's with a pension worth more than any of our wages.
  21. he was abysmal on sunday against Sunderland, arguably one of the worse perfrmances, technically ive seen from any Liverpool player of the past 20 years.
  22. James "the fat b*****d cockney" Corden, f*** me
  23. perhaps our scouts never bothered getting the new BT Sports pacjage on their SKY box, so they've missed the dutch and german leagues completely
  24. going by our history in the transfer market , i wouldnt think many. Surely players within our club are looking at what other teams are doing and just saying. "f***, wish i was there". You cant blame them either, we're like a man thats drowning in a pool thats knee deep, all we need to do is stand up but for some mad reason we dont bother
  25. Excellent goal by Henderson. Brilliant play
