i have to admit im really looking forward to seeing Sahin play in the middle for us. i dont watch an awful lot of German football, but i do always watch the highlights of it. He's been earmarked for greatness, along with his ex team mate Gotze as the best midfielders to come out of Germany in the past 10 years. I know he declare for Turkey, but he did grow up in Germany. Some people may not like it, but this kid could end up keeping Gerrard out of the first team, he really is that good. He has a similar passing range as Xabi, but he's alot faster, mind you, i doubt he has Xabis defensive brain though, that was a very underrated area of Xabis game. still, i cant wait for his debut now.
