They're normal steady owners, which for a mid table club would be perfect. However the landscape has changed, and the only way to truly compete is to spend s*** loads of cash. That's about their only fault, that they're not rich Arabs that spend their own money. Besides that, they've been fine. In an ideal world we'd be able to compete consistently for top honours going the way we are, but the fact of the matter is we can't. That's not their fault, that's just the way it is. totally agree. i think the guy is so bloody neat and tidy. We seem t have this silly view that centre mids need to be 6ft+, and need to charge into tackles left right and centre. But Wijnaldum seems to see the tackle he needs to make before he needs to tackle, so its just an interception (if you know what i mean) He was man of the match for me today, even though Mane was excellent as well, Wijnaldum made their 6ft+ midfielders look like turds. Says it all

fantastic player, but unfortunetly he's injured fat too much to be truly relied on. Im not one for treating players like commodities, but the harsh reality is he's injured too often and needs to be replaced because of it.

if we could get £20 million for him, even in January id sell him. A decent player, but not near mobile enough for klopps system.

Where has the notion that fsg bought us only to then make a tidy profit from the "inevitable" sale? They're not selling us. They're also not overly investing in the first team which is rather annoying. But people need to get this notion out of their head that we're eventually going to be some rich Arabs play toy. The problem is that you could probably name 7 first choice keepers that are better than him in the premier league.

Unless he's doing a Houllier when he signed both dudek and Kirkland on the same day. Then I have to agree with you. You only have to look at the keepers from the current top 4 teams. All better than mignolet. We'll never achieve anything of note with him in the team. I'm genuinely shocked.
