I'm shocked at the level of naivety here. Why are people so surprised we didn't play well against Celtic? In a nutshell, we're not that good (which the league table already told us). We didn't sign anybody particularly good, and we still have the same manager that talks a great game but couldn't deliver a dominoes pizza in 40 minutes or less. It's time some of you dreamers realised our players and management team are just not very good. That's why we finished 7th last year and not 1st

we've had a crap transfer window because beieve it or not, we're actually a pretty crap team these days. what world class player would want join the perennial 6th-8th place in the premiership, that doesnt play in Europe, has no hope of ever winning the league and has a manager that nobody out of his own house has heard of? this is the life of a mid table team. I'm not overly worried about this mignolet guy coming in. I'll admit I've never seen him play. But I have seen Reina, and I don't care how sentimental people are, he's been pretty poor at stopping shots from going past him for 2, maybe even 3 seasons now. Mignolet is an international goalkeeper, so he can't be too bad. Reina also wants a move back to Spain, what's the big deal.

If it's true that fsg, or whoever has rebuffed Rogers on signing what seems to be the entire Swansea first team, then imo they know more about football than Rogers does. Where did Swansea finish last year, 10th was it? Does Rogers think that basically putting a different jersey on these players they'll suddenly jump up the table? He clearly has no scouting network, no connections abroad. This guy is even more inexperienced than we thought

ill be short and sweet, im far too hungover for any long and winded posting i think Rogers knows what he wants. i.e, a passing team, and a high pressing team, ala Barca and Dortmund. but in all honesty, he's just not good enough to implement it. plain and simple, he's not good at his job
