True, but these are the refs that get the big games - so a good proportion of the games they've reffed will be top 4 and top half of the table games. Especially the ones that have rackup up 25+ games.
What the f*** is all this about Ferguson saying the red card for Neville was ok? Do they have to run red cards past him now or what? Does he have to give them a seal of approval? Arrogance abounds.
There's no f***ing way I'd play for Liverpool and then play for Man Utd. I'd rather not play football. In fact, I've had this argument in the pub many times. I wouldn't play for Man Utd full stop. If they offered me £2m quid a week (even though I'm 35 and have never played professional football) I'd still tell the f*****s to f*** right off.
If Rafa is somehow outsted by malcontent spread by moronic mumourings of some sections of our match going support, it will be the final nail in the coffin of Liverpool fans being considered knowledgeable about football. It's looney tunes.
How come "18 million of 'talent' on the bench that was money wasted" - isn't that ofset (in spades) by other players that have been brought in that are worth more than we paid?
If I were a suspicious man, I'd say that was... suspicious. Then again, there being any chance of Ferguson not being on the bench for the away game against who he considers his fiercest rivals would be beyond the pale.
I feel like that too. I would love to feel comfortable saying "ah well, we we're s**** and they deserved it", but the facts are that other clubs wouldn't have the same grace, and we're in the same league as them.
It's the refs fault for not applying the rules of the game to the situation that ensued. There's no way that goal should have been allowed, regardless of the temptation to say Sunderland deserved it.
Defintely in the s*** big time at the moment and we need to dig ourselves out of it. However, the team that we were forced to put out was always likely to lose against an in form Sunderland team who've had 2 weeks R&R and are playing at home. It was a cruel fixture. A win would have been the result of the season so far. As it happened we nearly got a draw at the end after conceeding a very early and dodgy goal. On a positive note we can only get better than this. The team should settle over the next few weeks and I'm sure Aqulilani will give the team a boost.
