Still think most of us undervalue Stevies performances and take him for granted. Been saying for months, he will come close to winning European player of the year this term. The turnaround in peoples opinions on Drogba are massive. A year ago he was thought of not far different to Kuyt. My point is that maybe with a year to settle in and some better players around him Kuyt might have a good season next term.

In the past, I didn't believe the owner of the club had sufficient business knowledge or experience to access Parry. Thats changed; now I'll leave it to hicks and Gillette and their families to look after the business side, including defining Parry's role and responsibilities.

Michael Essien will be sorely missed as he serves a suspension when Chelsea FC meet Liverpool FC in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final - while five of his team-mates must avoid yellow cards to escape a similar fate in the second encounter. Michael Ballack, Joe Cole, Lassana Diarra, Didier Drogba and Arjen Robben must all be on their best behaviour, while Liverpool, who welcome back Dirk Kuyt after his ban, have concerns only over Jermaine Pennant. Thats bloody brilliant - Essien missing is a big blow to them, first leg.

As an aside, EUFA will be well annoyed that there are three English teams in the semis and won't want two in the final. Can see them announcing refs who won't be Manc friendly for the semis. Gutted that they are finally picking up significant injuries this season too

He can get better, but he had already done more than 'reasonably well'. His clean sheets record is phenomenal. I guess if breaking 'keeper' records strecthing back decades is doing 'reasonably well' then its a fair description.

Which bit exactly is nonsence ? Last term they had a couple of injuries and it showed; we finished a point behind them without hving the strongest of squads. This term they haven't had any injuries, up to now. If they had they'd have had a hard time because a lot of their first team squad are second rate - such big names as Dong, Cathcart, Eagles, Heaton, Kuszcak Scholes and Giggs have played a massive part in their form this year. Scholes, Giggs, Van Der Saar, Neville and Solksjaer need replacements finding in the immediate future. Like how Keane was coming to the end of his career and they woulnd't be able to replace him ? 2006 - 1 point ahead of us 2005 - 77 points in third place 2004 - 75 in third place

The Mancs lose 2-1 thanks to a Ferdinand own goal, the Gooners lose at home and we win away. Luuurvly. I don't think its naive to think the Mancs will go downhill a fair bit the next couple of years. They have to find replacements for Scholes, Giggs, Van Der Saar, Neville and Solksjaer. Quite apart from replacing those players, a lot of their squad simply isn't good enough. They have been massively lucky with injuries so far this season (haven't had any). Ronaldo has had a brilliiant season but he will have massive epextancy on his shoulders for a young lad, next term. Couple of serious injuries at the same time next season would really hurt them.

Made me a bit sad seeing his picture and realise we are missing him

Rafa has kept picking him due to practically every player we have for LM and LB getting injured. Seem to remember one game where every player we had for the left flank was injured. When he does have to pick him he prefers to play him at LM and again its because of limited options. Arbeloa has often been picked ahead of him at LB for the tough games (Arsenal, Barca, Barca) since he has settled in. Its plain as day Aurelio is better than him by a mile. I've always though he wasn't good enough to be first choice for us. What is it about him that makes the other players think he is a sh*thouse ?
