Maureen had a heck of a good side at Porto. Whenever people mention him winning with them they tend to make it sound like it was a poor side, with a genius of a manager. Maureen is extremely limited. He certainly doesn't have it in him to leave a successful legacy behind, based on his work. Wherever he goes next he will be found out. When looking at what rafa has achieved and what he has spent, people forget what a desparate state our side were in when he arrived. Diouf, Diao, Cheyrou, Le Tallec, Djimi - and a dozen others - not good enough, on massive, long term wages. With the money he has spent Rafa has had to replace the vast majority of the first team and the squad. And he's done us proud. Comparing what Rafa has spent with, for example, the Mancs, is a joke. They had a squad filled with talent and we had a team well on its way to being consigned to mid table mediocrity.
