  1. Found this whilst looking for any comments made by UEFA spokespersons before the final: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtm...22/sfnbon22.xml Penultimate paragraph. The f***ing two-faced smackrat.
  2. "I think Liverpool have got a good player in Voronin" says one of the commentators in Eurosport. Must be his agent.....
  3. Fact - all of our opening fixtures since Rafa arrived have been away from home. Spurs in 04/05; Boro in 05/06; Sheff Utd last season. Be nice if we could start at home, for a change.
  4. Unbelievable upside.
  5. Wasn't that the role he had before he became co-manager?
  6. I remember Slabber going into some massive theory about how Liverpool Arsenal were France and Russia compared to Spurs and United bieng Britain and the US The Cafe used to be pretty good, but when the presidential b******s happened, it went downhill, and will probably never recover. Posted on RR for a while, but haven't been on for ages.

  8. Hargreaves is the type of player who'll excel under Ferguson, IMO. He's almost the perfect midfield mauler you want for this league. Not that I'm saying he's the worlds best player or anything, he's not, as footballers go he's probably just above average, but Ginsoak will use him perfectly, and get the best out of him. £17M is f***ing ridiculous though.

  10. Thing is, I think Bramble could have been some sort of success under Fat Sham, his teams are normally very good defensively and he does get the best out of the players he has. If anyone could have dragged that potential out of s****us Shambles it would have been SA, IMO.

  13. By the way, anyone seen the send up of Mourinho on Harry Enfield's new show? "Jose Arrogantino" In fact it's on tonight at 9:30, BBC1, can't vouch for the political correctness of the rest of the show, but that had me chuckling last week.
  14. I must be one of the few people in the country that likes him. Don't get me wrong, he's an utter c**k with his all outbursts and what have you, especially lately, but I find him seriously amusing. His comments about us had me pissing myself, I wasn't upset really, it was a bit like looking at another forum and reading some bitter d****ead's thoughts about us, and I knew he'd end up having this taunts rammed back down his throat. Still, I will always listen to what he has to say when he's on the box, and when he's not being rattled by Rafa or Fergie, he does actually tend to speak a bit of sense about things, especially when it comes to the media love-in with Arsenal and Wenger.

  16. What's Arbeloa done wrong to suggest you'd replace him in the squad already? Plus he can play at left back, something I've not seen Richards do (unless Anny Road can prove me wrong?). Arbeloa looks a very good full back, technically very good, good with the ball at his feet, gets forwards well, tackles well - why spend £10M+ to replace him? I would take Richards for the future, but he'd have to understand he'd need to play out of his skin each week to get a permanent spot in the team somewhere, and I'm guessing that's what he craves. Chelsea could even give him that, their right backs are all suspect and I think Richards is better than the lot of them.
  17. Carra still has a few years ahead of him, so let's not pencil him out just yet eh? Finnan's performing very well, has been since Rafa arrived, and Arbeloa is more than adequate cover, despite a dip in form (that shouldn't neccessitate a signing of any player really either). By what I've seen, Arbeloa looks better going forwards anyway. The main point I'm trying to get at really is the fact that Richards would need to play, no point us signing him and throwing him the bench for half a season. If he's going to come in, he would have to play, and right now I don't see a position open for him.
  18. He's not the best full back, certainly would rather any of our current two over him, and even more so Alves, he's not Carra or the Dagger, and as for central midfield, well, enough said. He's good, but as I've just said, I don't see where he fits in with us right now.
  19. Cracking player - but do we need him? We're set at right back really, even more so if we go for Alves, we've got Carra and Agger at CB, and he's not better than either of those two, not yet anyway. Don't see where he'd fit in.
  20. In what way?

    Reina

But but but the bad men tell me it's down to the defence?
  22. He's too good to sit on the bench here, but he isn't better than Pepe (most aren't). Better to sell him for a big profit and see if we can pick up an experienced veteran IMO.
  23. Mr. Michel said he would have sent Cech off and awarded the penalty if his linesman hadn't signalled goal. People can say what they want, do what they want - we won.
  24. Top top top top top bloke. Comes across as incerdibly likeable, level-headed and a funny guy to be around. And he was ace on Soccer AM a few months back
