  1. When you cut off the path to the first time, I suppose that's inevitable.
  2. Ha, celebrity fans include P Diddy, Dale Winton, Kevin Costner, Aled Jones, Diego Maradona and some of their former players. Not all of them, just some.
  3. Didn't he play upfront for us in a friendly once in the early Jurgen Klopp days?
  4. Would you consider that they're starting to struggle? Their last 10 games in all comps has 7 wins, two draws and one loss. One of the draws and the loss were against the teams third and fourth in the league and the other draw was a last minute equaliser against a team who have mugged a lot of big sides off. They've scored 23 goals and conceded 7 with 10 different goalscorers. I think any reports of Arsenal's struggles might be somewhat exaggerated. It would of course be lovely and hilarious if they did s*** the bed, mind you!
  5. Not sure where these dreams of Arsenal imploding come from. Gyokeres isn't hitting the heights, but they have goals all round the rest of their team enough to get the points.
  6. Rejected Shooting Stars ideas # 1743
  7. Your point being what? That we're better having nobody backing up our squad rather than Harvey Elliott?
  8. A player who doesn't actually exist is even less useful, which is what the manager is currently complaining about.

  10. That wasn't really my point. There was a huge turnover of peripheral squad players, none of which he played last season, and all of which would have been useful to us at various points this season. He's made a point about how he doesn't need a large core of players, but he's now bitching about a lack of squad depth. Make your mind up fella.
  11. Well you should have kept James McConnell, Tyler Morton, Harvey Elliott, Ben Doak and Jarrell Quansah then, shouldn't you.

  15. Can we get back on topic please, which absolute f***ing Tory is going to buy the M&S Tom Kerridge Beef Wellington and let us know if it's any good?
  16. I bet it's delicious though.
  17. Ok, but whatever level pedestal you put Gerrard on, he didn't win that many trophies. If you look at the very best midfielders of his generation, the likes of Pirlo, Kaka, Zidane, Xavi, Iniesta, Schweinsteiger, Ballack, Deco, f*** it even Lampard and Scholes won a tonne of trophies compared to him.
  18. It's because he was still distracted by his adventure with Bill and Ted.
  19. Compared to his peers of the same ability level he did.
  20. Same. He'll probably end up holding out at Real for a big move for another 3 years, end up at Borussia Dortmund and hit 20 a season on the regular before going to Saudi at about 29.
  21. Yeah, Wirtz was stopped from getting the ball because his shirt was being pulled. Bastoni was generally dead good though.
  22. Absolutely no argument there. If the entire rest of our season is solid ground out 1-0 wins like the Inter game, then that's great. To be honest, if we draw 0-0 with Brighton and show signs of structure and organisation then that's probably progress.
  23. We thought that after back to backs against Real Madrid and Villa though. I think it's a case of looking for positives where we can and accept that we're not just going to suddenly be boss every game.
  24. What, better than Paolo Maldini or Alessandro Nesta?
  25. Be ideal if he didn't act like a dumbbell end though.
