  1. I can't shake the feeling that Yamal is (currently) a bit overrated. He's a good footballer, but he's not the second best footballer in the world.
  2. Salah 9th. Top 10 is: 10. Pedri 9. Mo Salah 8. Raphina 7. Achraf Hakimi 6. Erling Haaland 5. Harry Kane 4. Kylian Mbappe 3. Vitinha 2. Lamine Yamal 1. Ousmane Dembele
  3. Be a bit of a laugh to have a "non league football sweepstake", where you just randomly get allocated a non league team in the preseason and then have to go one of their games in the season following on.
  4. Was it Michael Stensgaard, our former backup keeper who pretty much gave himself a career ending injury in an accident with an ironing board? So THAT cautious. Get a steamer Joe, or pay someone to iron your clothes.
  5. God that's good.
  6. Yeah, plenty of time for Mary to have her own away matches while he's playing and then mug him off that she's a virgin.
  7. My stepdad just supports whoever he lives nearest. Over his life he's supported Swansea, Cardiff, Spurs, Brighton, and Bristol Rovers and been a regular match goer at all of them.
  8. Dom 38 Wirtz 36 Alexis 35 Virgil 23 Luis Diaz came 31st Would assume that the top 10 is some permutation of Mbappe, Dembele, Yamal, Kane, Vitinha, Salah, Raphina, Hakimi, Pedri and Haaland.
  9. Take the positives where we can and hopefully give some pricks a bloody nose on the way, right?
  10. Yeah, but that's just me on my daily 50mg of copium.
  11. Only argument against it is that Ake possibly would have been able to cover. Doubt it though. Could be bias, could just be absolute incompetence. Or both.
  12. Goalkeepers innit. They don't get the same kudos as outfield players. He's ahead of Raya. Can't think which other keepers would be ahead of him besides Donna Summer.
  13. Hugo at 67 Ali at 49 Isak at 48 Gravenberch at 41
  14. We jest, but in the same way that Spurs are predisposed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, Arsenal are predisposed to always be the bridesmaids.
  15. Not sure Ibou has, to be fair.
  16. On the whole season. If we don't have any hope or optimism that we can reel in the teams ahead of us then what's the point? We're definitely better than we've shown, who knows what we can accomplish with a bit of momentum.
  17. No, but more teams could figure out ways to work against their tactics, key injuries, players out of form etc. Or shall we just give up?
  18. I guess I'm optimistically clinging to our players being miles better than our current form suggests. I don't think that we will win the title, maybe scrape top 4, but I don't think it's completely impossible. Maybe we're just giving them a head start to make them feel better.
  19. Luis Garcia is one of my all time favourite Liverpool players. He just played with absolute joy. He'd do 9 ridiculous things and then one absolutely sublime thing. Great song too.
  20. Probably not, but epic bed s***tings do happen. Look at us this season. We went full Spud from Trainspotting. We can make up three points on Arsenal and City just by beating both of them. That only needs them to lose two more games than we do after that.
  21. This content is not viewable to guests.
  22. I'm sure he will donate it all to charity as well.
  23. Well yes, quite.
  24. Mason Greenwood has been playing really well for Marseille to be fair.
