On the football weekly podcast they had an interesting stat that backs up the argument that going out of the FA Cup and League cup early could be a big boost in the title race. Can't remember the exact figures but basically we average significantly higher points per game when we have more than 4 days to prepare for a match (and Klopp's Dortmund were the same).
