There was a move later in the half when Robbo crossed low and it evaded everyone in the middle - Trent was just a bit wide on the other side of the area or else we could have had perfect symmetry. Although Trent probably didn't want Robbo to have an assist anyway, so held back, just in case.

I think being some kind of public figure is a given now for the CE. That he is sometimes cringeworthy (the Napoli hospital being a pretty good counterexample) is by some distance the least of our problems, and even then, we're a long way and time removed from when we did have substantive existential and structural problems. As has been said earlier, Klopp as our primary public face is absolute gold for our image at the moment; the latest article on the Willkmommen thread is positively Shanklyesque in its capacity to motivate.
