    To him it probably did. He got injured early on in Istanbul,was booed off by some of his own supporters and played no part in the comeback. He played an integral part in getting there,particularly in the Olympiakos game,but was nothing more than a spectator for the vast majority of the game. He was as delighted as anybody when we won,that is clear from the pics and videos,but the Croatia game was different-he personally played a huge role.

    That was the best game of the tournament,no doubt. It was clearly going to be a cracker,but the knobheads at the BBC decide to stick Brazil on the main channel instead. Good job guys. What a fantastic game,that had absolutely everything,and well in Harry!

    What's the deal with this? With people I met in the States it symbolised Southern pride and,in some cases,also a racial symbol too.Is it part of the "right-wing" leanings of some of the Spanish fans? A bit confusing,I've seen quite a few during this tournament.

    I like Desailly,even though he turned us down to join that shower. I do wonder,though,if he loves Ghana so much then why didn't he play for them?
