He's a nasty Tory prick masquerading as a nice guy.
-
What are you basing this on? We've almost no action on which to judge him

Their transfers have been awful for the last five years, they can afford to spunk money up the wall though. Haaland, Alvarez and Dias are the only good players they've signed in the last 5 years. Look at the dross they've signed: Kovacic - £25m (29 at the time) Gvardiol - £78m (can't get a game at CB, can't defend) Doku - £55m (flatters to deceive) Nunes - £53m (what is he good at?) Kalvin Phillips - £42m (currently warming Ipswich's bench) Jack Grealish - £100m (0 goals, 0 assists in 2024) Nathan Ake - £40m (s***e) If we'd done even one of those transfers we'd still be paying the price for it now.

Yeah, you'd rather face those tricky mid-table teams at home though wouldn't you? I guess you'd rather have a 7-point-lead as well though Homes:

Our remaining aways are worrying me to be honest, I'm having a bit of a head wobble. Here they are compared to what Arsenal have left according to where they are in the league. They've a few tricky ones too to be fair. That game at Anfield on May 10th could be huge.
-
Isn't this what Klopp was pissed off about though? Players were being identified earlier but we weren't taking any risks on them. I remember Enzo Fernandez being mentioned as one we were interested in before he left Argentina
-
I think we're paying the price a bit for not rotating a bit more earlier in the season. A few lads look like they have heavy legs. I think it's time to get Jota back in the starting XI if only to spark something and let Diaz and Gakpo have a breather. You'd hope your £65m #9 might be a spark at some point but that ship might have sailed.

He has a really unconventional playing style doesn't he, I don't really know who you'd compare him to. He seems to play at a different rhythm to everyone around him but it really works. Every time I see him he's in the thick of it and making an impact.
-
Maybe, he's playing like his soul has left his body at the moment though
-
Sell Nunez, buy Kvaradona and use Diaz as a centre forward. Everyone's a winner apart from whoever buys Nunez.

https://www.instagram.com/reel/DEdpWEBtgAT/?igsh=ajFtaGM4Z2pleno2 He looks lost at sea here, like he needs a standing-8-count

Depending on which Spanish news outlet you want to believe Virgil is about to renew his contract or he has been offered to Madrid by his agent and they have rejected
-
He seemed like he was really highly rated a couple of years back but he had a disastrous loan to St. Pat's in Ireland and never really recovered
-
He's getting worse as well, this is why I was saying take the €50m if it's on offer because we will do well to get half of that if he puts another half season of this form on the record.
-
He genuinely might have made 4 or 5 separate errors in the lead up to their first. He looked dazed for most of the game
-
I'm struggling to think of a worse RB performance for us. I don't think even Josemi was ever that bad.
-
I think Ipswich, Leicester and Wolves might be better than them. They're gonna sack Dyche and have a good run for a bit to keep them up though aren't they?

If someone is offering us €50m for Nunez we'd be nuts to turn it down.
-
I still think if they had an agreement to sign him they wouldn't be working so hard to unsettle him
-
I think this is much worse than Hodgson for them, it was obvious that he was the main problem for us but their issues seem so much more complex and deep-rooted. We also still had the remnants of a foundation to build off, they don't seem to have anyone who'll definitely be there in 5 years time. They all seem to think Hojlund and Garnacho are great but I have never seen it with either. Yoro is supposed to be good but plenty of great prospects have been ruined by going to the wrong club. We had Reina, Carragher, Gerrard, Kuyt, Maxi, Torres/Suarez to build off, they have nothing comparable

Thought he was really good against us, old school number 9 but with a bit of mobility and pace
