  1. I reckon even his Dad thinks it's time for a change.
  2. To pour a bit of oil on the "players not fit enough fire" I know Fedes legs are made of spaghetti and there are always question marks over his fitness, but it's not a surprise. Slot's "use" of the squad will be one of the main reasons for his downfall, his lack of rotation / trust has meant that he has even fewer players to select from when we have injuries or suspensions and when combined with his training methods (or lack of), it's a self-inflicted mess. I am sure that's part of the reason he's still here, as has been said, removing him and accepting they made a mistake will result in difficult questions for Edwards, Hughes and other members of staff. It's been clear to us for months, surely the teams monitoring our players' condition / fitness should have been able to predict this?
  3. Fully illustrated
  4. Looks like he's on his way to Amsterdam for a few days
  5. Agree it makes logical sense, but I'm sure he'll be thinking about optics and the situation he would be inheriting. I also think we can't underestimate the impact that Slots methods have had on our fitness levels. I would expect a better tactical setup from whomever comes in but there are no quick wins with fitness, therefore not sure we can radically change the way we play in the short term.
  6. Expect he wants to start in the summer.
  7. Brighton have clearly made some tactical tweaks at HT and it looks like we have absolutely no idea what to do.
  8. We're lucky to be only losing by one, they had a number of clear chances in the first half too.

    FSG Watch...

Yep, he's off and laying the groundwork. Either that or trying to get a reaction from FSG, would explain the apathy re Slot, probably both thinking he might not be their problem soon. What is it with these lads and a briefing? Can't help themselves, whether it be to remind us how much smarter they are or some other rubbish.
  10. This is good:
  11. It was fairly obvious that the emotions he "showed" against Gala were performative and mostly fake, but there was some uncertainty. Saw some comments (on Reddit etc) saying it was a positive thing, helped get the crowd going, so regardless, it was a net positive imo. But apparently he did an interview to Dutch media where he confirmed it was just that, he knew Gala would be play acting and didn't think the officials would listen to him otherwise. Now, there's a certain irony in that...but even when he "does" the right thing he can't help himself. He should have just taken the win (from multiple angles) but nope, had to tell everyone how "smart" he was . Anyways, good win for us, let's see what happens against Brighton.

    FSG Watch...

Looks like Edwards has been on the phone. So both of them (Edwards & Hughes) are probably thinking of leaving, more disruption. https://twitter.com/AnfieldSector/status/2034908027715777003?t=lQFplDx6A5GQCZFicNwGFg&s=19
  13. Yesssssss! So great to see Mo involved in both goals.
  14. Yep, was trying to lift it down the middle. Went for the percentage approach.
  15. Even the keeper is throwing himself to the floor, pathetic
  16. An Anderson type would make a huge difference to our midfield, someone of his style along with Grav and Dom would work really well, combative with technical ability. If the fullbacks provided the width, then we could play Wirtz off the left / through the middle, not sure how Isak and Hugo fit into that setup? Feels imbalanced unless Wirtz is more central. Though the lack of pace upfront would be a real issue.
