  6. Rumours are Salah and Mane upfront with Minamino, Bobby rested. Interesting if true - be good to see Minamino playing central.

If you were going PC I'd definitely recommend Ryzen, so far ahead of Intel atm. With laptops it's a bit different, though if you can find one with the Ryzen 7 4700hs, really amazing performance and well priced.

  10. Just heard the BLM organiser on R5, she confirmed the protests and talks had long concluded. Has it been declared a terrorist incident officially? On the radio they said the police had said it was a "random" incident, doesn't sound v random.
  11. The Voodoo Bizango (approx £675) is really well regarded - unfortunately only available from Halfords. Loads of great reviews, I managed to find one recently, made the mistake of getting Halfords to build it, got home and realised whichever numpty had put it together had managed to sheer metal and paint off the bottom of the front fork. They offered me 10% off, but as suspension forks cost £200 - 300+ I got a refund. Check the reach and standover measurements - plus if you're going to do some trails, decide between 29 and 27.5 inch wheels. If spending more, the other brand to check out is Vitus - the Sentier VR (£1000ish) - though they're direct to consumer so need to have a reasonable idea re sizing. PS - go for single gearing i.e 10-12 gears rather than 20 odd.

Definitely not a expert! The XSX is definitely slightly more powerful, but the PS5 SSD is significantly quicker than that in the XSX, it's actually quicker than anything available in the market today. Sony are banking on it making up for the slight performance difference, providing better load times and user experience. Generally choosing between the two comes down to games, Sony has some really amazing exclusives (Spiderman, Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted, Gran Tourismo, The Last of Us etc). MS have their own too, but they seem to favour FPS games. Some folks switch back and forth, some own both, I started out with a Playstation, always been open to either but with the exception of Forza perhaps, there has never been a game that has made me want a Xbox. Do you favour a particular type of game? Do you own a console already? As both Sony and MS are offering backwards compatibility with this gen, plus Sony has also confirmed that joypads etc will work.

I played some battle royale over the weekend and it was a complete sniper fest - doesn't help that i am a total newbie. Want to be able to do both - but its nigh on impossible to do much up close when as you say...some bod is constantly picking you off on route from the other side of the map.

Great stuff, I remember that from last night. Thought it was Rocket League esque. I just downloaded CoD Warzone...need lots of practice.

That also ties in with them asking Superdrug and co to stop selling / carrying them out. I think that was also in part due to Abbott stating that unless they were carried out by a trained medical professional they couldn't guarantee the same level of sensitivity / accuracy. One of my GP friends mentioned that there is a plan for GP surgeries to start offering / carrying them out in the next month. But I am sceptical as to whether that time frame is possible - definitely hasn't been mentioned in any article etc.

When Cerny did his deep dive tech talk - he said next gen games might be a bit smaller because developers for current gen are having to replicate lots of data (textures?), something to do with seek times on non SSD drives. Does that make sense @Barnesy_10? Though I expect games like CoD etc will always be massive regardless!

Yes - digital too restrictive for me, i'll definitely be going disk based. I don't buy many games anymore, but being able to PX at CEX (or similar) is huge plus.
  19. Thought he was pretty good in Hidden Figures. Untouchables is a classic.

I think the PS5 might be a bit (albeit not much) cheaper maybe £450 for the digital and £500 for the disc based version. Can see the full fat version of the Xbox being £550 - £600, the specs on it are pretty high end.

Agree, was also really intrigued by Kena, very pixar meets Zelda. I checked out a few of the trailers in 4k on my TV last night and they looked amazing.
