Hus

Expect he checked out the moment he knew Edwards was leaving. The impact of said departure (on him) has been mentioned by all the usual club journalists over the last few weeks.

Agree, looking good. Nice to see different elements to his game, he seems to be benefiting from the freedom Iraola is giving him.

Macalister being on a yellow really isn't helping. Nyoni would be a good sub. As for Wirtz, just seems to lightweight for the league.

Re Nyoni, it's what happens when you have a coach who only uses about 5 of the squad regardless of form. Also see, those Rio to Bayern rumours that came out a while back. Another thing that Edwards & Hughes deserve s*** for, I'm certain they were planning on keeping Slot.

In our long history of poorly planned & executed windows this has been one of the worst. It may still change but we all know how likely that is, we've known what we needed for months and months. It makes absolutely no sense at all, given our new manager an even tougher job to do, it's way beyond negligence. If he succeeds it will be despite those around him, ridiculous way to start a new season and tenure.

Yep, another one for the future... (Especially as I just saw that he won't arrive till 2027).

[] BREAKING: Advanced talks between AS Saint-Étienne and Liverpool over the transfer of Djylian N’Guessan. The final details still need to be sorted out. [@Santi_J_FM] I have no idea who he is either, but judging by his pic looks to be 12 and is a striker, apparently.

Agree, but our "smart" lads are trying to prove that we're all wrong.

I think we might be after both, it also benefits us for both clubs to think we're only after one.

What a complete and utter failure Edwards was, this all happened on his watch.

Feels like we have been here lots of times... You know the most likely outcome. (I don't mean with you by the way, but I'm sure you know that)

Would have to be Villa...

No issues with selling him, it's the timing plus our abysmal track record of signing players quickly. Especially as all the teams will know we're desperate, plus have just sold Cody for £85m. The squad has been left short multiple times over the years. This could be one of the worst....

Everyone was terrible last year. He (Gakpo) had decent output when used in the right way and part of a balanced squad. He can also cover for Isak, because currently that's.....

Neto is even worse than Sarr, runs alot, is always injured and doesn't actually influence games.

Exactly, gave him a huge deal, got contract remorse and have now identified someone "cheaper" whom has similar output. Accountants love that, squad depth be damned.

City will undoubtedly pay a premium, get it over the line quickly. Rich will spend the majority of the next 72 hours telling us all how amazing he was for managing to save £1.50 on the Barcola deal while trying to use store credit to purchase to buy Sarr.

WTF are we doing, would be okay if we had options. The squad is already ridiculously light and we're making it weaker. He's been playing well and he can also cover Isak.

Absolutely.

Great goal! (Yes, I'm well behind)

Rio looks completely devoid of confidence on the right

Makes no sense, at least switch Munoz to the right.

He got the shot away? I see we have reached the Dom at RB stage, took 1.5 games.

Isak needs service, we'll played Cody!

When do we get to fire Hughes out of a cannon? The damage that incompetent prick has done to our squad is ridiculous.
