    No issues with selling him, it's the timing plus our abysmal track record of signing players quickly. Especially as all the teams will know we're desperate, plus have just sold Cody for £85m. The squad has been left short multiple times over the years. This could be one of the worst....

    Everyone was terrible last year. He (Gakpo) had decent output when used in the right way and part of a balanced squad. He can also cover for Isak, because currently that's.....

    Neto is even worse than Sarr, runs alot, is always injured and doesn't actually influence games.

    Exactly, gave him a huge deal, got contract remorse and have now identified someone "cheaper" whom has similar output. Accountants love that, squad depth be damned.

    City will undoubtedly pay a premium, get it over the line quickly. Rich will spend the majority of the next 72 hours telling us all how amazing he was for managing to save £1.50 on the Barcola deal while trying to use store credit to purchase to buy Sarr.

    Wirtz has done okay, but his presence is completely ruining the midfield, it just doesn't work. The less said about Frimpong and Kerkez the better, our squad planning for the last couple of seasons has been an absolute shambles.

    Good to see Munoz starting, Rio does not look comfortable on the right. Macca too, but I thought he might come in for Wirtz. Without a 6 (or similar), it just feels like we're going to struggle with midfield balance all season.

    Agree, but have never seen him so front footed and aggressive on the press before. I do wonder if he can keep it up, clearly under instruction from the new coach.
