    Not sure if it belongs in this thread but a few rumours around re Hughes negotiating / joining Al Hilal. FSG clearing house? Just don't see Edwards getting rid of his mate so quickly. Seems unlikely, I wonder if he's actually negotiating the departure of Mo.

    Wirtz MoTM was so good, great to see him battling and putting his foot in. Really wish he'd just leather the ball sometimes but a great performance. Honourable mentions to Ibou and Virg.

    Agree, he's done from my perspective. There is a risk that the longer it drags on the more toxic it's going to become.

    Agree, I know it's harsh, but it annoyed me too. Feels like he tries to keep the players onside by giving them time off and extended breaks (like last week, where they had two days off apparently), which would make sense if we were playing like we were under Klopp, but we get outrun by almost everyone we play. What's worse, we don't even look capable of doing it, another issue.

    He's just looking for people to blame for his own shortcomings. It's his job to extract everything he can from them, whether that be from coaching, instilling confidence, motivation or a combination. He's a poor leader, an element of ruthlessness is required but it seems he has the balance wrong.

    Seems others have already attended an Arne Slot motivation masterclass. Looks fake but also wouldn't be a surprise if there's some truth in it.

    I see yet another Arne Slot motivational masterclass has taken place. Bemoaning bad luck, talking down players and lowering expectations all in about 15 mins. That takes some skill.

    It's definitely there, twas mentioned by more than one journalist IIRC. Makes no difference, I expect he has little interest in coming back and sitting on the bench or being beholden to Arne's squad management approach.
