Regarding transfers, I think it's also the frustration of being asked the same question repeatedly, especially since he has made it clear multiple times that he doesn't discuss them in that setting. Not saying there isn't tension, but the above is a factor. Plus, it feels like there is a general spikiness as a result of his comments being (rightly) scrutinised.

I genuinely thought that was a fake account. I am choosing to ignore his interviews now, he's obviously under a lot of pressure, maybe the end is closer than we think. But I am not going to let him distract from what was a much-needed performance.

Re the Alonso discussion. I thought this was interesting, I like Adams content, and I know he has a habit of always painting a relatively positive picture, but he does address some of the issues that Alonso had at Madrid. It also highlights his tactical flexibility and willingness to adapt to the players he had.

I think Cody is suffering (in part) from the same thing we have been seeing with Mo, we're not setup to get the best out of them. This feels similar to the spell under Klopp when he wasn't being used or supported (by that I mean in terms of movement, players positioning around him, etc.) correctly. But then I believe the entire team is suffering as a result of poor coaching and inadequate setup.

I want someone like Anderson, he's combative, can play box to box and has an eye for a pass. Decent at set pieces too, I know the numbers quoted for him are ridiculous, but surely we can find someone with a similar profile?

Lots of rumours, the fact that there has been no tweet or similar from the usual journalists saying that he retains the backing of the board makes me think he's done, its just a matter of when they decide to let him go.
