  1. Arne seems an exceptional coach, he has made this group of players his own pretty much from day one. He did inherit a great squad from Jurgen, but changes like giving defined roles to Gakpo and Gravenberch have seen them flourish, and we are more controlled and patient. Crucially we look far less vulnerable through midfield. We also tend to get better in the 2nd half of games and I think that is often due to his tactical adjustments and subs.
  2. Feel like everyone has just got used to him being calmly brilliant in every game. He is such a gorgeous footballer, makes everything look easy. That signature move of his where he lets the ball run, uses his body and just strolls away with it is just so f*cking sexy. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player do that like he does so often.
  3. Arne Arne Slot, Slot, Slot We must be winning again
  4. He plays the RB role so different to Trent, Bradley is so physical and aggressive, still reminds me of Gerrard at times when he first came in at RB, the way he moves and especially those big tackles. We are very lucky to have two players at that position who are so good.
  5. I think that El Khannouss will be one to watch.
  6. Never want him to go. The new lad looks class but you cannot upgrade on Ali. Be nice to have both!
  7. He was awful again yesterday, absolutely all over the place and we looked much more secure after Bradley came on. Every team attacks his side. Strange time with him this, some brilliant playmaking games mixed in with some appalling defensive ones, all with the backdrop of uncertainty over him staying. His defending had improved earlier in the season.
  8. Bottom half of the draw looks better, stay away from City / Madrid etc.
  9. Not even close - at least Garth had comedy value.
  10. He is so lazy! Can’t even be arsed writing a separate bit for each player sometimes so bundles two into one and says ‘they were both dead good’.
  11. Deeneys team of the week always comes across like a child has written it. He makes Jenas look like the Poet Laureate.
  12. This content is not viewable to guests.
  13. I think Slot clearly defining roles for him and Grav has helped both of them massively.
  14. Jorg achieved far more pilled up. Hughes has failed at everything (apart from picking the manager but suspect that was Edwards). We have done so well becatee of Slot and what he was left by Jurgen.
  15. Word Up.
  16. I think we need another high level midfielder, we have depth in forward areas but not in midfield. I think we would struggle for creativity and control without Grav or Macca if they were out for any length of time. There are still question marks for me over whether Jones is good enough to be a regular first Teamer. I dont think he’s mobile enough for the advanced role, he’s holding it too long again and we don’t look the same without Szobo.
  17. Hes been out with a long term injury and being eased back in. Dont think anyone knows what Slot’s plans are with Elliott.
  18. The thing I don’t understand is why his head not being on it translates into lack of effort? There are lots of clips of him strolling about (I was screaming at him for it all game) and I can’t remember him making one tackle. Mistakes I can understand due to distraction but I can’t accept not trying. I genuinely wondered if he was unwell he was moving so slowly, but if he was it would have been put out there. Also feel that Slot leaving him on as long as he did was his first weak decision. If Bradley wasn’t fit enough to play longer I’d have put Quansah there.
  19. Yep - he was appalling yesterday, cost us two points. He’s made a rod for his own back by copying Bellingham’s celebration against WHU. Really pathetic that, selfish behaviour making it about him (and a Real Madrid player) when he should just be focusing on playing football for Liverpool. Changed how I felt about it all.
  20. With his contract situation what it is, lack of effort is not a good look, he played like he didn’t give a f*ck. Absolutely inexcusable performance.
  21. Hard pushed to ever see a lazier, sloppier, less arsed effort from a professional footballer than Trent today. He should be embarrassed.
  22. F*cking Trent again and again, get him off.
  23. It’s kind of funny how it’s turned out, seeing as nobody was even arsed about him turning up because we were all so devastated about Klopp.
  24. It really was. I wonder if it was the whole ‘we have to do it for Jurgen’ thing creating too much pressure, because I’ve honesty never seen anything like it, those two United games especially.
  25. Yeah I agree with you both. Would defo p*ss you off at the same time though! Wouldn’t be human if it didn’t. He deserved another title at least.
