Arne is doing an incredible job. Hard to believe how good this team looks already and it’s his style. Jurgen left a fantastic squad with lots of depth but Slot has had a huge impact on many of them - the likes of Grav, Szobo, Diaz, and Gakpo have taken big steps forward. I genuinely wonder what Jurgen thinks of it all - is he watching us? Is he made up for us (knowing him I’m sure he is) but is there part of him that thinks ‘FFS Pep where was this over the previous 9 years?’. All his years of graft for one title that was marred by Covid then Arne rocks up and makes it look like a piece of p*ss first time up!

Massive improvement in his end product, love him in the middle with Gakpo left and Mo right. Think that’s our best front three as it stands. Some big numbers in the games those three have started.

Gordon’s alive???!??

Our final ball, decision making and passing in the final third since Slot has arrived has been so good. The likes of Diaz and even Mo have improved dramatically in that area and you have to give Slot credit for that.

Mo is getting incredible service this season, he could have 30 goals by now. His movement is amazing though.

Can’t stand Madrid, entitled, cheating c*nts. Look at Vinicius’ behaviour after not winning the Balon d’Or. That’s what they are all about.

Imagine what he could do in our team. He’s class but he is injury prone. If him and Jota could agree to get injured at different times we’d be great.

Most of the fouls were one of ours breathing on one of theirs and then pretending they’d been shot.

Nearly 70% of the ball and the foul count is 15 by us and 4 by Leicester. Hilarious.

How bad is Nunez?

I actually think Tsimikas has been better than Robbo this season, and felt he might have been becoming first choice before his injury. Robbo has been showing signs of something like his best last few games though. It’s good to have the competition.

I think Spurs are massively reliant on VDV - without his covering pace they are completely exposed. The further problem they have with the reliance is he seems very injury prone. I read a stat last season they are 22% more likely to win when he plays which is bonkers.

I think maybe there is a bit of that, but I think a lot of it has just been poor decisions. I kind of feel like he’s been rushing or over thinking what to do with the ball when he gets into good positions (and his pace and role get him into a lot of them). He was more composed yesterday. I think when those opportunities come around he just needs to slow himself down momentarily so he’s fully aware of his options. Salah’s second was perfect in that regard.

We are so lucky to have him - never complains despite being used right across the back four and as a backup. He’d start for most teams in the league.

My MON today, absolutely ran the show with his passing and defended really well too. Complete performance.

He’s so fast and works so hard. Even when off form he is effective with his pressing, but Spurs gave him a lot of room to work in today and he punished them.

I didn’t see enough of Hansen to have an opinion, but everyone says he was a Rolls Royce like Virgil.

Sami was my favourite player of that era and one of my all time favourite Liverpool players. But Virgil does all the things Sami did in terms of aerial dominance and leadership, whilst being quicker and a better footballer. He is not only the best CB I’ve seen play for Liverpool but possibly the best I’ve ever seen full stop.
