Cunha has a release clause and is proven in the Prem so I reckon that means he could be an option. Not arsed about him being a loon, loads of great players have been over the years. He’s rarely injured also.
-
I don’t see Cunha as a 1 in 2 forward anyway, in the same way Bobby wasn’t. This season he’s been 1 in 2 whilst not playing up front (Strand-Larsen is the 9). I’ve watched them a bit and if anything he’s playing deeper than before but still scoring at that rate which is impressive. Mo will stay, and I think Cunha would be ideal as kind of a false 9 who can make things happen around him. We have lost creativity and I think he brings loads of that.

Signing two world class existing lads up will mean fewer problems to fix so maybe do that?
-
He’s brilliant but not £150m brilliant with his injury record. Cunha for £60m I’d be all over though. I think he could be the new Bobby.
-
No chance of Isak IMO. Just typical FSG briefing about interest in a top player who proves to be ‘out of our price range’ because Newcastle won’t sell him cheap. We only sign cast offs and players with clauses these days. We are to be fair good at signing in those brackets but your £30-40k Salah and Mane pickups have to be supplemented by a couple of big VVD and Alisson moves. We kicked on and won it all after being aggressive for two of the best in the world in key positions.
-
And he’s actually only 21, not 22 till November.
-
Not surprised - she hasn’t had a new f*cking watch off him for years.
-
I suppose seeing as he refused to do to Brighton what Trent’s done to his boyhood club, he probably would think he’s a c*nt. Even Cunha signed a new deal with Wolves with a decent release clause that won’t stop him moving or hold his move up much.

Did France take Konate off at HT purely for being sh*t? He is brilliant vast majority of the time but has the odd mad game where he plays like he’s drunk. -

Need the crowd up for this and f*cking should be. -
Totally agree, loved him up front. His movement was amazing and apart from one weird spell was a lethal finisher. He played up front occasionally and seemed to score every time he did it.

That goal Mane scored away at Arsenal (think it was his debut) when he cut in and smashed it in the top corner with his wrong foot was the start of something special. What a player and an absolute warrior as well - played with no fear, always stood up on the big occasions.

Moreno is in the argument for most brainless footballer I’ve ever seen play for Liverpool.

Be interested in an example of a player in their prime who ran their contract down (which always involves pretending you might stay) and left on a free anywhere but the fans still liked them. Why would they?
-
I’d be very worried if Edwards isn’t heavily involved at such a hugely important time of transition and change. The manager is in his first season but hasn’t yet been able to sign anyone, two of the best players in the history of the club are about to be out of contract, and we have just lost one of our most valuable assets for free. Richard Hughes has proved absolutely zero so far, the one player we have signed during his tenure has been a flop. Ward completely failed to deliver on a much needed midfield revamp after Edwards left first time, so I don’t see where his credibility comes from. After embarrassing failed chases for the likes of Tchouameni under him, Jorg rocked up and sorted it from the beach whilst popping gary’s in Space. The only one of this group that has my trust is Edwards who I think is a smart guy and that is because he was behind the recruitment of Jurgen’s first great team. I suspect he was behind the Slot hire and I hope he is very involved in the contract negotiations and player acquisition strategy. If not we could be in trouble.

Don’t know why it’s so outlandish to some that Trent could have done things differently and foregone some of his riches to leave on better terms? Loads of players have left their boyhood clubs with plenty of goodwill - can’t imagine the Spurs fans have any animosity towards Kane? He stayed right through to nearly 30 and wasn’t playing in a likely title winning side, then still got his European adventure. Trent can f*ck off. Madrid have called the shots and he’s f*cked us over for his and their benefit. I’d like to leave him out for the rest of the season but Bradley’s injury means it might not be an option. Hard to gauge what the fans’ reaction will be.
-
One of the worst cases the world has ever seen? I’ve told you a million times not to exaggerate.
-
He’s a massive talent.
-
I think physically he reminds me a bit of Gerrard, and Stevie grew out of his injuries. Hope Bradley is the same.
-
Yeah, my legacy would be far more important to me than the extra money. I’d already have plenty of that.
-
I wouldn’t want to leave the club on a free. I’d do something like MacAllister did with Brighton - agree a relatively low release clause which wouldn’t stop me leaving but still made sure the club got £40m say. And would make sure the buying club actually wanted me enough to pay something for me, rather than just took an opportunity to sign a player for nothing. There are ways he could have left and kept his legacy and reputation intact. This isn’t one of them.
-
Yeah - he has a bit of swagger about him too, a bit of arrogance top players have. I think he could be a star and if not for the injuries I’d want him to run with it, but I think we need another option. Frimpong would be ideal as he can play further forward as well.
-
Such a shame he seems so injury prone because he is very good all round. Our win ratio with him is 78%.
-
I reckon Bellingham will be crashing Trent’s box the amount he’s been sucking up to him. With his little chat imitation. Embarrassing.
