Couldn't agree more Wayne. I always appreciated Carra but I was always thinking about what great players were out there who could eventually replace him. When we lost him to the leg break I couldn't believe how much weaker we seemed at the back. From that time on I have not be able to accept the team without our Carra.

Just heard that from my Celtic mate also. He knows a few people "in the know" and this is been spoken about very strongly in those circles.

I'd play Carra regardless of match fitness because in the derby he'd be running on adrenaline anyway. I'd also play Agger as he wont be fazed by this match as to him it will be just another game, and we need the pace against (the very slow?!) Johnston. I'd also play Kuyt and Crouch with Bellamy coming off the bench. I'd drop Garcia as this is not the game for his tricks and flicks that give the ball away a lot. Alonso and Momo (if fit) in the middle with Sevie out side and Speedy on the other side.

Same with Pennant, but for entirely different reasons.

he is great, but I always laugh when someone (quite rightly) remarks about his concentration as for some reason I always picture a goalkeep with 'poor concentration' to be standing around the back of the goal looking at the sky when the ball gets knocked into an empty net.
