The entire Portugese team cheated and dived their way through the World Cup, they were a disgrace, however, only Ronaldo carried those antics through into the 'meaningless' 3rd/4th place game. What kind of player tries to cheat in a consolation game. I'll tell you, the sort to whom cheating is second nature, i.e, he doesn't do it in certain instances, he does it all the f***ing time. THAT is why I dislike him as a player because he has so much god given talent and chooses to be a complete c***. Deco annoys me for similar reasons, at least he let his footy do the talking last night.

He did, however that performance from Baros was on a par with any 45mins I've seen from any striker at Anfield. He'd have run anyone ragged that night.

I don't see that much of him but I've rarely seen him have a bad game and seen him be outstanding on a number of occassions.. Just taking the two games against us for a second, he scored their goal at Anfield, he nearly scored the decisive goal in Turin, neither goal was his fault despite Baros giving him a roasting at Anfield what did he actually create ? I thought he was their best player in the two ties v us in 2005.

I'm not trying ot defend Bellamy as he is a little k****ead but would she have pressed charges if he wasn't famous. Assualt can be pushing someone to the ground or giving them a good punching without causing serious injury as far as I'm aware. He probably pushed her and grabbed her by the throat. Nasty, granted but not worthy of a custodial sentence IMO. We knew about this when we signed him I can't see there being a great risk of him going down. 6 months is the maximum is it not. 2 months suspended sentence is my guess.

I don't follow Italian footy that closely but Inter certainly haven't spent anything like the amount Chelsea have over the last two years. Maybe they have spent maybe £200m over 5 years but Roman spends that each season. It's not a fair comparision to say that Inter have not succeded in Europe compared to their outlay. I bet they haven't spent double what AC and Juve have spent yet Chelsea have spent nearly ten times what we spend the last two years.

Another thing I noticed was that not only was he pinging the ball about but he was telling the defenders (In particular Pernia) who they should pass to. He controls that midfield majestically.

He isn't though, he used to but he isn't a starter anymore, he only played in 2 CL game this season and 15 league games. some of them may have been as substitute and the CL games were almost certainly when Ballack didn't play. I think he gets a rough ride and deserves his place more than Jenas but I'd rather drop them both and have taken Reo Coker and Bent !!!

Yes, f***ing please, even if we have to pay £5m plus Cisse to match the Mancs £12m it would be worth everny penny. Yes £12m is a gamble on a kid but getting shut of an unwanted player and paying £5m isnt the same as £12m especially when there is no guarantee that we would get the cash otherwise.
