I don't get this, is the Millenium stadium a lifeless bowl ? It didn't seem lifeless to me when Michael Owen slipped the ball passed David Seaman. It did seem lifeless when Cheltenham won the playoff but the stadium was half empty. It doesn't seem lifeless when 60,000 Welshmen are in full voice. The fans make the stadium what it is, on a wet Saturday afternoon against Bolton Anfield is as lifeless as any other place but on an April night in the Champions League we created the best atmosphere EVER (IMO). If the same people go to the new stadium and the stadium has great acoustics like Cardiff then there is no reason why this ground wont rock like the old one does. History is great but the new stadium will have it's own day in the sun when we bring home number 19.

Admittedly I only saw the highlights of Crewe but from what I've seen so far this season he looks a lot faster than he did last season. If you are carrying a lot of excess weight and you shed it can you actually gain pace ? If he is a yard quicker he will definitely be knocking on the first team door because he has everything else in his armoury already. Lovely backheel on Saturday, some great awareness in his passing as well.

I think he cost £6m which was expensive but not outrageous but his wages of £60k at the time were a piss take.

Materazzi, himself, not hearsay, has come out and said he doesn't know what a terrrorist is. He's either the most stupid ignorant man on this planet, or, he's hiding something. If he did call direct a mixed race insult towards Zidane and insult his mother, who had been taken ill that day, then although wrong you can see why he did it. Also ask yourself, why did Andrei Shevchenko that mild mannered striker headbutt Materazzi last year in the CL semi final. Personally I think it's because Materazzi is a c*** but I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions.

and ...... You say you are a real football fan and all you will remember him for is that headbutt. So what, that's up to you.
