Always an intelligent player, I remember his knockdown to Owen in the 1-5 Germany/England game (The one where Liverpool scored all the goals ) many palyers would have headed for goal, and probably scored, but not he, he headed side ways and down to Owen and an empty net, brilliant. Didn't he fall out with Houllier when he had all his injuries?.

Terry Mac against Spurs (I think) hewas way out wide, he knocked it up (From a throw in I think) hit it on the on the volley on the turn and it curled into the far top corner. It was the one that was on the beginng credits of Question Of Sport for ages, and some say it was meant to be a cross but I reckon he hit to well for it to be a cross.

Nah, leave it to Crouch and Finnan like they did on Bowyer against Newcastle at Anfeild - Crouchie pushes, Finnan sticks his leg out and over he goes.

A.Cole could be Englands answer to LM to be hoenst, J.Cole has done alright there, but A.Cole would be better IMO. Think he is/was a class act, will have to see what recent injuries and media attention may/will take out of him.

I read that interview too and wondered where he would fit. He has been great this season with that right wing/free roll, but,I actually see him as a Baraja box to box player myself, getting stuck in both ends, but, that means we have will have Momo, Xabi and StevieG in the middle. Maybe we should accomodate a (I feel a formation moment comming on....) 4231 with three players freely rotating around behind the lone striker, linking up with midfield, peeling off to the wing and supporting the striker. Players like Garcia, Kewell and possibilities like Siamo have played on the wing or as strikers and should be able fill this role, though they will need to be discaplined as if one goes to the wing, the others will have to find their positions to balance the attack and cover the defence. Would be a nightmare for opposing defences, and would probably be best deployed at home than away, but would accomodate Momo, Xabi, and Stevie and well worth a go I reckon.

See ya point, against Fulham was where it all started, so could start it again, would be great if it did - a big Fowler hat trick please!.

Don't forget though it is a World Cup year so any deals could well be blighted/delayed and any half decent performance or goal in one game will sky the price. Suddenly 30Mil might not go that far.
