Unfortunately, racism is something within someone and cannot be seen, if they outwardly make a gesture on the pitch then I would be disgusted yes, but I agree, as racism isn't worn on the shirt like a sponsers logo, we don't know who is and who isn't. Due to the amount of peolpe in a team these days I wouldn't be surprised if every team in the league hasn't got at least one racist, or, wife beater or, molester or etc, etc. These days though its not just trouble on the terraces, we have people complaining about players inciting crowds, or spitting, or making gestures to crowds. I remember as a kid an away game at Forest in the 80's, Robertson (I think) came over to take a throw, my mate said he was old and s*** and couldn't keep up with Souness. He told my mate to f*** off, and that he could keep up with my mate any f***ing day and thats all my mate needed to worry about!!. We laughed, , now he would get a 6 match ban. Now racism 'aint funny and if whoever is supposed to have said it did say it then fair enough, they will be dealt with, but, we hear so much these days of supporters getting players into trouble, or trying too, that if he is innocent, as I hope we all hope he is, then he will probably never be seen as inocent, mud sticks as has been said in this thread, and racism is an awful thing to be stained with. Anyone know of which bit of the game it was and why it has taken this long to come to light?.
