  1. His main attribute is scoring plenty of goals from midfield. He also has the happy knack of getting these goals when it really matters to his team. He can shoot by the way, decent finisher, just gets an inordinate amount of headers for a small lad. Doesn't offer a great amount in open play (you are right there), but he does work hard generally. My argument is he doesn't belong on this list really, that's all.
  2. Think you're really overdoing it there, he's far from that one dimensional, The headers are what he's best known for, doesn't mean it's all he can do. He doesn't belong on a list of really really average players, unlike a good few of Everton's squad.
  3. He's not playing well, but he's a good footballer. Of course with our bundles of goals from midfield and prowess from set pieces I'm sure someone like him would offer nothing. Anyway, to be honest, I don't give a f*** about Tim Cahill, I just had to amuse myself somehow/stop myself throwing up a list of really really average Liverpool players.

  5. Wouldn't it be great to have them in our squad right now? Particularly Cahill. He's been a key player for United off the bench, had a great year last year. One of those many so-called 'really really average' players that keeps winning them leagues. Another we'd take in a heart beat, despite being a lazy annoying c***. Absolute class player (and also an annoying c***) That one's been answered. My point being that I'm reading a lot of these names and thinking either, he's quite good or I wouldn't mind him in our team/on our bench right now. More a reflection on the state of things than the players maybe.
  6. What a c***. Oh look, Liverpool lost, I'll use this to get my name out there again and maybe some stupid f***ing club will hire me.
  7. There has been a few things that haven't helped, but every team has tales of woe. I'm inclined to agree with the previous two posters.
  8. I understand your point, but I just feel what's happening with the owners should not excuse, in any way, the performance of the manager or the players. Is it affecting them? Yes, I'd say so. To what extent? I don't know. They are wearing the Liverpool shirt for f***s sake and being paid an awful lot of money to do so (I don't think this is irrelevant to be honest), but more than that they have an obligation to the fans, to themselves, to the club..... Ah, I'm just frustrated a s f***
  9. I'd love them to call a players meeting as a matter of urgency and let them all speak frankly about what the f*** is happening ON the pitch. We are devoid of leadership on the field, that's obvious. As a team they are lacking confidence and the performances so far this season have been woefully inadequate. Weak and all as our squad may be compared to a few others we had a team full of highly experienced, highly paid internationals out there today, bottling it big time. Again. The players are not be pitied right now in my honest opinion, they need to sort themselves out as much as anyone else involved with the club or we won't finish in the top four.

  14. Or putting it another way.... If you could sign one player in the world for Liverpool who would it be? For me, it would be Messi. An easy decision in fact.

  18. So what did Paul Stewart say about Rafa?! Ah f*** all of 'em, as Rafa and everyone else knows there's only one way to shut them up. You're never as good as they say when everything's going great or as bad as they say when you're struggling. It's a cliche for a reason. Critics, commentators etc are almost entirely fickle. Go on a winning run and Rafa will be a master tactician again and zonal marking will be the way forward. Tend to only turn on games a few minutes before kick off now, but most importantly turn it off after the game's over.

  20. I reckon Babel has been given every opportunity. And offered ntohing to suggest he will be a success in any position.
  21. Ah it's more than that in fairness, not just the injuries. We're really struggling to play football. You can't tell me the eleven footballers Liverpool put on the field against Blackburn (for example) were disjointed due to injuries? I am quite hopeful though that we'll turn it around.
  22. The centre backs do get a lot off set pieces alright, I conveniently overlooked that. Like I typed in some thread somewhere tonight though it's about time our f***ing centre backs stepped up to the mark and stopped looking like sluggish lightweights. I stand by the Fabregas comment though, he really is key to that team ticking or not.
  23. True, but this current Arsenal team don't seem to have that ability out wide, mainly due to injuries to be fair. If Fabregas is kept quiet, and Arshavin to a lesser extent, you're a lot of the way there. Probably the way a lot of Arsenal fans view playing us, just put in the two big names from our team. Easier said than done. Think we'll win and Gerrard will look like himself again. Then we'll beat Wigan 10-1!
  24. I'd settle for fluidity anywhere on the field right now.
  25. I'd be very happy if we cancelled out Fabregas, because if we can we'll probably win.
