I think he was going for something similar to City 17/18. That is unbelievably tough to pull off Guardiola is phenomenal and the only one I have seen do it.

I’m not disagreeing that we should score goals. I’m saying that you can’t say we were unlucky with chances because 1) You didn’t place the ball in the position that registers as a goal 2) If you score one of your chances then you don’t automatically get the rest of the chances 3) If you are behind then often you try to score and the opposition defend more. If you do score then the other team will try to score again. We’re not playing at a level that will sustain results despite us creating some chances.

Yes. It’s why the talk of missed chances is useless. If we score one of the earlier ones and go straight back to playing how we did until Mbuemo’s opener then it doesn’t matter how many “unlucky” misses we rack up.
