Whats the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over again and again and expecting a different outcome? -

One thing about this league is you don't get the right to play, you have to earn it. We are being constantly out battled and out fought. -

Nothings changed, it's the same pattern we've seen all season in the league. -

Sunderland players and fans milking this victory and rightly so. They're putting other teams in this league to shame at the moment. -

Fair play to Sunderland, they've nullified Chelsea's threat. They've played better at Stamford Bridge than we did. Shows how bad we've been. -

Very, he's been making excuses and deflecting for his sides performances recently. Saying it's all "fine margins" is quite clearly not true. We the fans can see that it's not with our own eyes. If he truly believes in that then we got a long season ahead. -

To be fair his attempt was a tad unlucky. He tried to put it through the keepers legs but the keeper just about got enough on it. -
It's disgraceful Mo is receiving this sort of abuse online. I suspect it's mostly from fans who have jumped on the recent success bandwagon. Yes you can criticize him for his poor form but to attack him personally is way out of line. This man has richly deserved legend status at the club. He's going to remembered alongside players such as Kenny, Rushie, Jockey and Gerrard. I feel though a spell coming off the bench will do him some good since it is not working for him being in the starting eleven either due to tactical constraints or poor form.

Hey we won for a change! Better tonight but some of the issues we've been having recently still came up in tonight's game. I wouldn't say we're out of this bad patch just yet. Brentford at the weekend will give us a better idea. -
He shouldn't be starting Saturday. Feel age has caught up with him finally. We looked much better today as a team, more fluid. Mo would make a great impact sub though.
-
Sorry but this is not fine margins, yes if we taken our chances we could've won. But look at our general passage of play, look at the structure of the team, there is no chemistry and identity in our game. We're out of sorts and if Arne thinks its just a matter of time before the footballing gods are with us then he is sorely mistaken.
-
Everything worked for him last season, unexpected by probably himself and us the fans. He seemed to fit right in, like we never lost Jurgen. This season, its completely different, I don't think he was expecting this and neither were we. This is the most challenging period of his Liverpool managerial career so far. It's not going well, every defeat is going to increase the pressure. Question is can he find a solution? He's going to have to make some tough decisions to find one I feel.

Match Topic Liverpool vs Manchester United - Premier League, 19th October @ 4:30pm

Very weird, FSG gave him a warchest which no Liverpool manager has ever had in the history of the club. It's all feeling like square pegs in round holes. Like what are they doing in training? You'd think the new signings would've established some sort of system and chemistry by now. Like we've lost our identity, what is our identity in our play? -

It's now clear we're in a transition season, those five wins at the start of the season were clearly covering up some large cracks. The formation isn't working, some players out there are now playing on reputation either because they have dropped a level or because the formation isn't working to get the best out of them. It is clear we have a very talented squad, you cannot deny that but Arne appears to be lost as to what is the best system for the players at his disposal and that is really worrying. -

Four defeats on the bounce, no general improvement in performances. This is starting to get worrying, we spent 300 million plus quid in the summer and the team is looking worse. The pressure is on Arne to turn this around. -

We're a shadow of the side from last season. Too many big changes in the summer has made our team completely unbalanced. This could get more painful, individual players playing well below par. Chemistry is gone, the formation is not working. -

It's feasible Arsenal could bore their way to the title like George Graham did. They're so defensively solid. -
Somehow, despite losing three games in a row, two in the league we're second and one point off the top.
-
Come to think of it, system and player wise what is our best starting eleven? Based upon performances since the start of the season I haven't got a clue. It all feels like too many square pegs in round holes. The system we are playing doesn't appear to be getting the best out of the players at our disposal. Our best players have been Dom, possibly Virge and Hugo, that's it. It's grim and very worrying.
-
Mos had a poor start to the season by his standards. Maybe a stint from the bench will revitalize him because he's becoming too predictable.
-
We've got too many players playing below par. Konate, Kerkez, Salah, Gakpo despite his goal today, McAllister etc etc. If it were one player paying badly, that player can be carried but when it's this many its a managerial issue. I'm glad we've got this International break now because Arne needs to sort this out and quick. He needs to completely rethink his formation, style of play and work out how to get the best out of these players. If that means dropping legends of the club such as Salah to achieve it then so be it.
-
Was outstanding for Bournemouth last year, one of the best fullbacks in the league and now this year he's looking the complete opposite
-
That's it, we have no style of play, no identity. We're relying on individual performances to bail us out. That's what the first five games did for us and we got lucky. Our luck has run out, conceding two late goals in the space of a week is the chickens coming home to roost. The players look like they don't know what to do, they appear to be playing as a bunch of individuals. How can a side with fantastic players look so disjointed?
-
Wheels have come off, despite being average most of the season we're second somehow. Two late winners conceded in the space of a week that's f***ing s***. We spent millions in the summer and the team looks worse for it. We don't look like a team out there but a bunch of individuals who for some reason are playing well below their best. Arne has a got a big problem on his hands how can you spend 300 million + in a summer and actually make the team worse? Something is not right clearly, Arne needs to reset everything because what he is doing right now is not working. This is the probably the first time in his reign as Liverpool manager he is struggling to manage the squad and our style of play.

This lad has been terribly inconsistent this season but he's not the only one.
