  1. Despite winning the league it's clear we need to strengthen in the summer. It's another summer where we need to get it right otherwise we'll be back scrapping for CL places instead of the title. We need: A right back (To replace Trent and to increase competition for Bradley) A left back (Robertson is another year older and cannot play as many games again next season, Tsimikas isn't good enough as a starter.) Centre Back (Konate is in the last year of his contract, unless he signs and Virge despite being a colossus is another year older. Gomez is unfortunately too injury prone and I feel two huge injuries in recent years is a bridge too far. Quansah is still raw and not good enough to start in the big games) A central midfielder (Gravenberch, McAllister and Dom have been great this season but their legs started to go towards the end of the season. Elliot, Endo, Jones etc etc haven't permanently been able to displace them. We need more strength in depth here particularly creative wise) A striker (Nunez need to be replaced, he's not good enough to lead the line. Jota I'd keep as a squad player because despite him tailing off toward the end of the season he does know where the back of the net is.)
  2. The fact we are getting no fee for him is why most people are annoyed with him and I agree. By going for nothing he's screwing over his boyhood club and denying the club tens of millions of pounds. Coutinho did leave for supposedly greener pastures but he did leave us a hefty transfer fee which enabled us to rebuild the squad and win the big trophies again.
  3. Keegan left for Hamburg Souness left for Sampdoria Rush left for Juventus Suarez left for Barcelona Mcmanaman/Owen/Trent left for Real Madrid. We've lost good players before, this one hurts for some because he's a local lad and the club are getting nothing in return. I'm indifferent to the situation because the club have lost influential players before and it turns out alright. The main worry his departure will bring is the knock on effect it'll have on the team. His creativity will have to be replaced by either signing a replacement or tweaking tactics in midfield and upfront to compensate.
  4. Be funny if Arne puts out our strongest eleven against Arsenal next weekend. Race for 2nd place is tight.
  5. Where is the "who cares" Van Dijk gif when you need it?
  6. Think what tonight is showing is that both Spurs and the Mancs are way below where there should be in the league table. It's clear to me both sets of players don't take the league seriously and now showing what they can do in this competition.

    2024/25 Season

    Hahaha brilliant Fans therapy session
  8. Must build from a position of strength. Can't rest on our laurels just because we have won the league. Other teams will strengthen around us. Mo, Van Dijk, Robertson, part of the backbone of Jurgens team are all another year older in their 30s. We need fresh blood, increasing the strength in depth of the entire squad. Next season will be even more difficult, we'll have a target on our backs being champions. I want the league again next season, we must get the summer transfer window right.
  9. Hope so, Real Madrid are a clown show. Trent must be nuts to go there. He could stay and cement himself as one of the all time Liverpool greats. A Maldini of AC Milan great, could smash the appearances record if he looks after himself.
  10. 2nd goal was a screamer.

    Dressing room celebration....champers everywhere.
  12. I have begrudgingly respect for Ginsoak, he was a great manager though there was no doubt he had the English refs in his pocket. This day has completely undone all his hard work, hope he's sitting at home drowning in whiskey.

  14. What a man, no ego, first thing he gives credit to is Jurgen, returned the favor. Add him to the banner. I can't believe it he's done it in his first season.
