  1. I would not blame him for not wanting to return but he would be the first one on speed dial to save this season for me. Jurgen makes his players feel like they're ten foot tall.
  2. Exactly! Arne has got far better players at his disposal and he's producing similar results to the Hodge. It's f***ing disgraceful and unacceptable.
  3. Doesn't surprise me. His record is just as bad as Hodgson's, I just can't believe this level of mediocrity is now all of a sudden acceptable at this club? Especially after winning the league, no fan should accept what we've seen this season it's time for a change now while there's a third of the season to go.
  4. Just to put it into perspective as to why he should be gone. Since the opening five games of the season our record stands as: P20 W6 D6 L8 F29 A30 GD-1 Pts 24 24 points from the last 20 games. In that time we're performing worse than Fulham, Brighton, Newcastle, Sunderland, Brentford and Everton. We've been the 12th best team in the league. It's mid table mediocrity, it's just as bad if not worse than Hodgson. We're not catching Villa, Chelsea or the Mancs with this manager in charge. He needs to go if we want to salvage anything from this season.
  5. But it's not just about tonight is it? Take the season in its entirety. We went on a run of 9 defeats in 12 games. Bad defeats at home against Forest and PSV. Surrending last minute goals and dropping crucial points against Palace, Leeds etc. I'm sorry but it is all on Slot, he's the manager, he sets the tone, he determines how we play, the tactics, the substitutions, the mentality, how to motivate the players. It's just not good enough, this season is a shocker. We're way below expectations.
  6. Aye we are so mentally fragile. Even Klopps worst team would put this Liverpool side to the sword.
  7. We always look knackered after playing most of the season at walking pace. Fitness, endurance and stamina seriously needs to be looked at. It's a huge f***ing screw up by management. I think we're near the bottom when it comes to distance covered.
  8. Totally, it's all down to the manager and his team. Our mentality is weak, we buckle under any sort of pressure. Players are playing like individuals and we are reliant on individual brilliance. There's no togetherness, no system, no fluidity in our play. Players appear confused as to what their roles are in the side. It's a huge mess, this has been a s*** storm of a season and it's completely unacceptable considering we were the best team in the land last season.
  9. Sometimes in football you do get what you deserve. Being good for 30 mins shouldn't excuse as to what happened out there tonight. That first half alone wasn't good enough. City outplayed us for 45 mins and we couldn't get the ball off them nor could we put anything together ourselves. We were at home, under the lights and we were playing like we were at their ground. I've had enough, seriously, he should've gone a while ago but I can no longer back or defend this manager
  10. Please go Arne, thanks for the title but you've lost your head this season. We're not getting top 4 this season with you at the helm.
  11. Oh I agree but I think he was kept on because top 4 was still in play. But with now both the Mancs and Chelsea starting to get their acts together we're in serious jeopardy of missing out. I can no longer see any justifiable reason as to why he should be still in the job.
  12. It's been a clusterf*** of a season. Injuries to key players, A run of 9 defeats in 12, baffling substitutions, damaging home defeats.
  13. We're not getting top 4/5 it's time to say thank you and let him go.
  14. The Mancs put this City team to the sword recently. Spurs got a point off them. Yes the second half has been better but that first half was a waste of 45 mins. We were outplayed at home.
  15. Another home defeat. Top 5 is increasingly becoming out of reach. I've had enough.
  16. Like us, Man City have an extremely soft underbelly, if we can go on a run, 2nd might not be out of reach.
  17. Liverpool in CL >> Liverpool in PL but why?
  18. Discounting the first five games of the season. We're 12th in the table, one point better than Bournemouth and Forest, two points better than Palace and Leeds and three better than Spurs in 17th place. 4 points above the relegation zone in effectively half a season of fixtures. It's just not good enough, he needs to go.
  19. Carraghers analysis of the game is an eye opener. The gap between our black and front lines during an attack was astonishing. Bournemouth had complete freedom of the midfield. I believe Carra had the same concerns in the opposite fixture earlier in the season. Since the 5th game of the season our form has been abysmal. Slots in game management and tactics are not working. We're not going to make top 4.
  20. Despite the fact stats clearly show we've ran less, pressed less than the opposition this season.
  21. He's either lying or we're in the upside down.
  22. That's a terrifying thought.
  23. Absolutely, probably going to go down as one of our worst title defences in recent memory. In 1981 we finished 5th after winning the League but the European Cup saved the season.
  24. That's worse than Hodgson. That's how bad it's got now. The Champions League is the only thing saving him right now.
