  1. Neither convince me, there's plenty of managers who have performed well but when they make that next step up to a really big job they are found wanting.
  2. Downed tools a long time ago.
  3. He did but he should've won more League titles and champions leagues with us. I think if he came now he'd have a better squad than he had at any time during his tenure.
  4. If not Klopp, then who? Who is available out there right now you think can get this season back on track? Has the personality and can command the respect of the players in the dressing room?
  5. His connection to the city, the club and the fans. His personality and charisma is now so attached and ingrained into Liverpool I just can't see him turning down a decent offer.
  6. I think he would if he was given what he wants. I felt when Jurgen left he still had some unfinished business to do.
  7. That's my biggest fear, it is why I'd would not go for the unproven Alonso in the Premier League (Managerial wise anyway). I'd rather we go with the safe pair of hands in Jurgen Klopp. We need a turnaround and quick, I don't think we have the time right now to let Xabi have a crack at it to get back on course.
  8. Best player this season in what has been a shower of s***. Feel bad for this lad, he deserved much better than what his manager and teammates are showing out there.
  9. Had the same Username for 22 years, kept it simple. Never choose a username after a manager or player.
  10. This is all so f***ing sad though isn't it? He won us our 20th League Title at a canter and the wheels have literally come off. I've never seen a Liverpool title winning manager perform so poorly in defending their crown. He's completely lost the players that's the only explanation.
  11. Jurgen first, Alonso second.
  12. The suits would be f***ing nuts to not consider it, give him what he wants to bring him back.
  13. Been going on about the formation for a while now, he stubbornness with 4-3-3 has cost him his job. The players we have in the squad just don't suit a 4-3-3 formation. It's been so obvious for a while, I saw it ages ago, Slot didn't
  14. OK if you don't count injuries and just look at the personnel on the books, it is. This team should be in the top two places in the league table at the moment and in the top 8 of the Champions League table.
  15. Our squad is one of the strongest in Europe, its a damning indictment of what Slot has pulled off this season. Any top class manager in Europe would love a squad like ours. The squad isn't weaker, how they are being used and set up is the main issue.
  16. Been though every Liverpool manager since 1988, this "slump" reminds me of Houllier. He's ran out of ideas and doesn't know how to fix the problem.
  17. Chiesa has been extremely patient waiting for his chance but it appears Slot has never truly trusted him to do an effective job. It's going to be one of the blights against his time here at the club.
  18. I hope he is, because in terms of a quick turnaround and getting back on track I feel he's the only one who can pull it off.
  19. Yeah his man management is extremely questionable and now his tactical nous has been horribly exposed.
  20. We need to be decisive and do it now, this cannot continue. I would be f***ing begging BEGGING Jurgen Klopp to come back and fix this. He would inject some much needed desire and passion back into the players, the fans and the club as a whole.
  21. Ouch! We got relegated that season as well. I think he needs to do the honourable thing and resign.
  22. That's it, our worst result at Anfield for a long time. He should walk.
  23. LOL, you have to laugh otherwise you'll f***ing cry. The fourth confirms it for me, this is embarrassing now.
  24. Interesting to hear the Anfield crowd reaction at the final whistle.
  25. Since buying Isak, Wirtz, Frimpong, Kerkez and Etikeke in summer for over 400 million quid, he's taken us from Champions of England to a 75% loss ratio over the past twelve games. I hate to say it he deserves the sack, I cannot defend him anymore, the players have downed tools. They've lost confidence in him, don't believe in him, his methods, his approach and style. So f***ing sad this is.
